The aim of the study was to describe the process of developing and evaluating the usability of a prototype web page for adherence to pharmacological and nonpharmacological treatment of patients with cardiovascular diseases and their risk factors in primary health care. It consisted of an applied methodological research of technological development. The technical-scientific content was built by the research team. For the construction of the website, tools were used in three areas: Front End, Back End and Database. For the usability test, five health professionals evaluated the accessibility and satisfaction with a form created by the researchers based on scientific literature. The response was dichotomous (yes, no) with comments. On the web page, the patient and health team menus open in five interfaces: one with the dates of the next check-ups, another with the health check-up data, which includes pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment; two with informative data on treatment and healthy lifestyles and the last, with patient data. As for the evaluation of usability, the five professionals evaluated accessibility and satisfaction positively. The study succeeded in creating a prototype web application for patients with cardiovascular disease and risk factors. The proposed technology can be designed for other diseases or health needs. In addition, after validation, it will enable studies to explore the effectiveness of this technology.

Hypoxanthine and xanthine are metabolic biomarkers that result from the degradation of purine proteins. Scientometric analyzes constitute a tool to study scientific publications around a certain topic in order to determine trends in the literature. A scientometric analysis was carried out of the recent scientific production on hypoxanthine and xanthine in exercise, published in Scopus database during the period 2016-2021. For the search in Scopus, we used the English keywords exercise, hypoxanthine and xanthine. A quantitative analysis was carried out, taking into account the articles found, as well as the information provided by VOSviewer software. Sixty-four articles were identified, 56 of them were applied research and eight were review. The exercise effect category had a larger number of studies (23). Here there is a subcategory of metabolism that had 21 articles. The United States and Poland are both the countries with the highest number of publications. There are different approaches and exercise protocols used to quantify the response of hypoxanthine and xanthine, as well as the profiles of the study subjects used as a sample for the investigations. The quantification of hypoxanthine and xanthine in the body is important for research in the field of exercise science.

Information is the basic element of all scientific research, which requires finding data and processing them in order to obtain aggregate information. In addition, it is necessary to know the point of view of various authors who have already addressed the research topic. Therefore, bibliometric analyses have acquired great importance in the scientific field. The present work aimed at reviewing in depth the scientific literature related to health network management control, in order to identify the most relevant publications, the most influential authors and the different trends. The Web of Science (WoS) database was used to analyze 476 articles, based on a series of bibliometric indicators over a period of 51 years. This study indicates that the scientific literature on health networks is an area of knowledge in full force and topicality, mainly oriented to the theoretical study of network analysis; the quantitative methodology prevails, through primary information sources; the predominant language is English and only recent findings related to the descriptive study of the control of health networks are presented.

The objective of this article is to report the experiences, actions and knowledge construction of the Healthcare Reference Centers of Workers (in Portuguese Cerests) inserted in the State of São Paulo during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is important to note that the Cerests are inserted in a National Network of Comprehensive Health Care for Workers (in Portuguese Renast). Thus, a survey was carried out among the Cerests who have a site, blog or social networks and, with it, the sequential explanatory method was used, the information collected, systematized and analyzed on the knowledge built and their actions carried out in education, vigilance and assistance. The results obtained are analyzed in light of the available literature that deals with the construction of knowledge, the health of the worker and on the actions carried out in the State of São Paulo in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. The work was concluded with important reflections on the importance of the knowledge built within a summary of the actions identified by the Cerests, thus observing that most of them follow educational guidelines and are marked by knowledge. This summary demonstrates the ingredients built during the pandemic period, these being guides for the other Cerests in the face of the pandemic, and used in the post-pandemic process.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the historical production of medical, nursing, dentistry and psychology teachers assigned to the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Universidad del Magdalena, Santa Marta (Colombia). For this purpose, the publications of the permanent and occasional professors of each program were counted. The productivity index (publications/number of professors) and the minimum number of professors with more than 50% of the productivity per program were calculated. Likewise, the distribution of total production (including the four programs) and the quartiles were determined, which serve not only to observe the asymmetry of productivity, but also for a possible classification. It was found that the productivity of the teachers is higher than 1000. The most productive programs were Medicine (481), Psychology (253), Nursing (166) and Dentistry (148). When correcting for faculty size, Medicine and Psychology continue to lead; Dentistry is equal to Nursing. Of the 73 professors included in the study, only 6 have an atypical production (> 25) and account for more than 50% of the total. Of these, four have doctorates and three are occasional (fixed-term contract). It is concluded: i) the nursing program has the most uniform productivity; ii) the medicine program has the highest productivity, but uneven; and iii) more than half of the production is concentrated in six (8%) full-time faculty members. It is recommended to take actions to standardize production, qualifying and motivating teachers with greater difficulties.

The evaluation of scientific production has been of vital importance for the adequate development of scientific policies. In the current scenario, mediated by the pandemic and infoxication, the use of bibliometric methods is transcendental to know the development of scientific publications about COVID-19. The objective was to analyze the thematic profile of the scientific production on COVID-19, published in Cuban medical journals during the first 90 days of the pandemic. A bibliometric study was carried out, with a non-experimental design and a quantitative approach of descriptive-correlational scope. A total of 106 documents on the disease, published in Cuban journals, were recovered, with which an ad hoc database was created in the EndNote X bibliographic manager. A total of 184 keywords were identified. The application of centrality measures revealed 43 nodes and 286 relationships. Nodal degree centrality and intermediating measures were applied. In the resulting co-word network, 41 items and, grouped by frequency of joint occurrence, nine keyword clusters were distinguished. The most productive keywords correspond to the thematic analyzed; the terms COVID-19, coronavirus, coronavirus infection, SARS-CoV-2 and pandemic stand out. The thematic profile of the scientific production on COVID-19, published in Cuban medical journals, demonstrates the interdisciplinary nature of the research and is evidenced by Cuba's success in facing the pandemic.
