Resumen
Los imperios tradicionales, centralizados y teledirigidos desde Europa, fueron sustituidos por “imperios negociados” u “obediencias negociadas”. Todas estas ideas han aportado fluidez y efervescencia al estudio de los imperios y han ofrecido a los autores cierta libertad interpretativa y temática que hasta hace poco tiempo no se tenía en cuenta. Fruto de esta libertad de temáticas existe un renovado interés por el análisis de la “diferencia” dentro de los grandes agregados imperiales y todo lo que esta implica.

Resumen
The article reconstructs the beginnings of the culture of female celebrities in Buenos Aires based on the analysis of the arrival and performances of the singer Adelina Patti in 1888 and 1889. Based on her case shows how, towards the end of the 19th century, there was a transition in the practices of musical interest that ended up constituting the singer as a stage diva. The documentary corpus addressed comprises a set of diaries that allow us to investigate the representations of what it meant to be a famous woman and the dimensions that constituted this phenomenon.

Resumen
This article examines the Congresses of the Federación Latinoamericana de Asociaciones de Familiares de Detenidos-Desaparecidos (FEDEFAM), between 1981 and 2006. Based on material from human rights archives, it offers a periodization of the federation's trajectory and describes the elements that made possible its conformation and sustainability, its conflicts, and its changes. It is argued that the congresses constitute spaces of encounter and transnational solidarity, and of training in human rights activism against enforced disappearance, and that they built an understanding of the phenomenon of disappearance that includes historical, economic and political causes.

Resumen
The purpose of this research is to explore the relationships established between the Rio de la Plata feminist movements, North American Pan-Americanism and Hispanicism in a context characterized by the distrust of both nations in the face of the North American advance on South America. Based on the analysis of a wide variety of sources, which also include personal correspondence, the impact that international movements had on the political and friendship ties forged by feminists on both sides of the Río de la Plata since the first years of the century XX will be analyzed.

Resumen
This article examines the Asociación Gremial de Abogados (AGA), an organization dedicated to social change and the defense of political prisoners in Argentina during the early 1970s (1971-1974), to investigate how its militant habitus made it a target of repression. The text deals with the trajectory of the AGA as an exponent of the "new law", the arguments used by the repressive forces to justify the persecution against the lawyers, and the violence perpetrated by the Triple A, which caused the disappearance of the union, but also different forms of resistance by the victim lawyers.
