Resumen
The article discusses World Heritage Site Guanajuato, Mexico, a mature destination which suffers sustainability issues concerning water provision, traffic congestion, and refuse collection, the result of chaotic urban growth. Stagnating visitor numbers indicates ageing social infrastructure, dated tourism products, and reputational damage of public insecurity. The research objective is to improve municipal planning by using a resilience framework from the tourism ecology literature to encourage sustainable development. It integrates the results of a 2021 survey of local tourism business opinion and finds Guanajuato’s multi-business owners are innovative in crisis, reacting to covid-19 with changes to their products and services. Federal and State government hardly responded. It should widen membership of the municipal Tourist Board and incorporate project evaluators within the local Planning Office to apply a resilience model to address environmental, infrastructural, and tourism challenges.

Resumen
The importance of climate change has been strengthened in the last decades, prevailing the need for a change ofbehavior. The main objective of this research is to establish a validation scale to evaluate the climate behavior of students in Mexican universities based on public climate awareness, social and individual norms, and climate attitude. The method used was a quantitative and confirmatory analysis on the proposed instrument using SmartPLS; the instrument was administered to 166 university students. The results suggest a valid and reliable scale for the evaluationof climate behavior through the proposed variables, empirically supporting the theoretical proposal in the university context and concluding in a support for the established hypothesis. The originality of this study lies on the level of analysis (second order), the model generated, and the subject of study.

Resumen
Agriculture is one of the most sensitive sectors to the effects of climate change (CC), particularly in some Mexican regions. The aim of this research is to quantify the magnitude of the agricultural risk to CC and its spatial distribution in the Cuitzeo Region (CR) in Michoacan. The methodology used has three stages: 1) detection of the regional CC signal, 2) estimation of vulnerability, and 3) measurement of agricultural risk. The results show that increase in temperature has a trend on 63% of the region and the CC signal in 80% of the territory. The agricultural risk to CC is distributed heterogeneously and with different magnitude. It concludes indicating the elements that require attention to reduce vulnerability and to make something avoid trend to reduce rainfall in the water catchment areas of the region.

Resumen
Mexican plum is a tropical fruit widely consumed fresh. Although it has a high diversity, there is not enough research on fruit growth kinetics. The objective of this work was to determine a series of physical, chemical, and physiological changes during fruit growth. Trees of three ecotypes were evaluated, from fruit set to physiological maturity. Results revealed a rapid increase of fruit respiration in the three fruit ecotypes between the day 30 and 60 of the fruit growth, although respiration decreased afterwards; likewise, a similar behavior was observed with the titratable acidity. Flavor index was higher in Amarilla (12.2) than in Morada and Roja. Thus, fruit growth in these ecotypes of Mexican plum appeared to be double sigmoidal with 90 days of duration, where the titratable acidity, flavor index, polar diameter, luminosity, and chromaticity help to differentiate among them.

Resumen
A new species of scorpion, Diplocentrus leptomanus sp. nov., is described from northeastern Sonora, Mexico. This contribution increases the number of species in the genus Diplocentrus present in the state to five, two of which are endemic to the state. Morphological comparisons are provided with other species in the region, Diplocentrus williamsi Sissom & Wheeler, 1995, Diplocentrus peloncillensis Francke, 1975, and Diplocentrus spitzeri Stahnke, 1970.

Resumen
Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria interact with different treatments or metals present in soils enriched with compost that improve soil conditions and benefit plant growth. The objective was to analyze the development of Medicago sativa with rhizobacteria under stress conditions. Alfalfa seeds of two varieties (Victoria and Aragón) were germinated, inoculated with two rhizobacteria, and transplanted in a greenhouse, copper sulfate added, compost, in two types of soil (irrigated with wastewater and well water). The residual soil presented significance in the number of leaves and height of the plant, the Victoria variety in the number of leaves, the M40 strain in stem diameter, and the compost with 37 g in root length. The use of root-associated rhizobacteria in combination with compost and heavy metals allows developing technologies with benefits for Medicago sativa.

Resumen
Food security is the availability, access, use, and stability of food in support of health and nutrition, which contributes to meeting the needs of individuals and social groups. The objective of this research was to determine the diversity of backyard plant and animal species and their contribution to family maintenance in communities of Chiapas and Tabasco. To this end, 180 producers in 50 communities of Chiapas and Tabasco were surveyed. Results show that the most important ornamentals were chives, tulips, and roses (Fr = 15.8%, 14.0%, 11.4%, respectively); the medicinal plants found were purple maguey, aloe vera, basil, and oregano (UST is 46.1%, 28.9%, 26.7%, 18.9%); and the fruit trees with the highest value were citrus, mango, banana, and avocado (Fr = 22.1%, 17.2%, 10.7%, 6.1%). Moreover, birds appeared to be more present because they are a source of protein and income. It is concluded that the biological diversity represented in backyards contributes to food security in the dimensions of access, use, and availability.

Resumen
The objective of the study was to evaluate the effects on productive variables and in vivo digestibility of the inclusion of mesquite (Prosopis laevigata) pods in diets for growing rabbits. A production trial was carried out using thirty-six weaned-female rabbits in a completely randomized design assigned to one of three treatment diets containing different concentrations of ground mesquite pods (VMM): T1 (Diet without VMM), T2 (Diet 15% VMM), and T3 (Diet 30% VMM). Feed intake, weight gain, feed conversion, carcass yield, and in vivo digestibility of the diets were measured. Significant differences (p < 0.05) were found in daily weight gain, feed intake, carcass yield and dry matter digestibility between T1 and T3. Feed conversion ratio did not show significant differences among treatments (p < 0.05). Mesquite pods provide an adequate nutritional content to rabbit diets, and when used at 15%, they do not affect the productive variables and digestibility.

Resumen
A series of diagnostic tests were performed through a qualitative methodology based on action-research and the constructivist principles of the Minerva University Model (MUM), aiming to develop teaching strategies in data visualization and information design to strengthen the practice of graphic design students from the initial stages of their education. This is a first attempt to measure how to address the teaching process and to generate a long-term action plan. The evidence indicates that students had difficulties when choosing the optimal visualization type. It is concluded that it may be necessary to rethink the contents of the studied subject by guiding the students through the diverse kinds of graphics, focusing teaching on the properties and advantages that each visualization offers to appropriate statistical and visualization concepts.

Resumen
Femicide is the maximum form of violence against women, its consequences have psychological and social repercussions, extending to indirect victims. For this reason, this study aims to identify the psychosocial consequences that develop within a family when experiencing such an event, through an exploratory and qualitative analysis of the elements of quality of life, using an in-depth interview. As a result, psychosocial consequences such as alterations in self-perception and ideas of persecution, questioning of gender roles that cause female emancipation, tensions in family and social relationships, and loss of meaning were found. Results point at the possibility of structuring a life project that allows relatives of femicide victims to manage their coping skills in such a way that it influences on their state of mind and eventually on the development of comprehensive measures to reach secondary victims.
