Resumen
This text presents a theoretical reflection on human-machine sexuality. The objectives are to update the relationships that exist between our species and contemporary objects and how they have modified our experience of pleasure. The analysis is situated within the framework of a pronounced transhumanism and a planetary commodification of jouissance with the production of highly efficient and particular sexual technologies. Through a qualitative methodology with a transdisciplinary approach, the text generates a dialogue between different areas of knowledge, “unconventional” sexual practices and media culture to attend to the specificities of this “new” dimension of technosexuality, in which we objectify people and personalize devices.

Resumen
The rock art on Isla de Mona (indigenous name Amona), the majority associated with the island’s long Indigenous history, is some of the most diverse and dense in the Antilles. Since 2013, our project has focussed on this history, building on previous work carried out by Dr. Ovidio Dávila Dávila in the 1980s and 1990s, and by Dr. Irving Rouse in the 1930s. In particular in this paper we consider various subterranean activities that have remained hidden in plain sight because they differ from conventional understandings of what rock art is. The Mona caves have an unusual geology which lend themselves to certain practices, ways of moving through space, interactions with mineral substances, and mark-making. Here we focus on the widespread practice of making marks using the fingers in the soft and pasty carbonate crusts which cover the cave walls, a technique observed in the dark areas of around 30 of the +/-70 caves we have visited out of a total of over 230 caves on the island. The finger-fluting, at the same time as leaving negative white traces observable as rock art, also removed or mined wall deposits in a practice we refer to as art-mining. Art is mining and mining is art. In this article instead of focussing on the recognisable images, we analyse the majority of non-figurative marks. This work contributes to rock art studies worldwide in which the relations between mark-making, caves, underground substances, and elevated states of consciousness form dynamic assemblages connecting Mona with other Antillean underground spaces, as well as with continental areas of Central and North America.

Resumen
This article reviews recent research on early childhood care from a territorial dimension. Studies with up to 5 years of publication in databases and digital repositories at the Latin American level were analyzed. The analysis of this information was done through a back- ground matrix that contrasted hypotheses, arguments, theoretical and methodological frameworks. As results, it was found that for each scope of territorial action (family, school, public policies, non-formal education and diverse territories) there are different conceptions of childhood and approaches for its intervention as the basis of current relevant debates on childcare, among others, the notion of early childhood citizenship vs. its actual exercise; take care/attend vs. educate; transform existing family arrangements per se vs. understand the subjective impact of motherhood on each woman; children’s rights vs. women’s rights. The following are proposed as topics that deserve further investigation for future research: 1. Strategies to encourage greater responsibility of men in care tasks; 2. The role of the private childcare offer in Latin America; 3. Post-pandemic effects on learning; 4. Challenges and advantages of the digital world as a technologically mediated territory since early childhood. As a main conclusion, it highlights the importance of ascribing a multiterritorial perspective as a strategy to provide contextualized solutions to early childhood human development problems.

Resumen
The research examines the links between migration policy, petroleum and migration with the aim of identifying the relevant milestones that shaped the phenomenon of migration in Venezuela during the 20th century. Regarding the methodology, first and secondary sources were reviewed, which included censuses, laws and press releases that were used to rebuild the historical context in which migratory flows took place. Among the main findings, it was verified that the Venezuelan State maintained a selective migration policy until 1999, since he never abandoned his aspiration to attract migrants from both Western and Eastern Europe, as reflected in the installation of the Presidential Commission for Selective Immigration, during the second government of Carlos Andrés Pérez as in the anti-Colombian discourse that characterized the official spokesperson during the second government of Rafael Caldera.

Resumen
Several studies affirm that the integration of rural women in economic activities, can provide them with financial autonomy, consequently, these activities can lead them to the process of female empowerment. This is presented as an opportunity for women who, generally, join collective organizations in order to improve their social and economic condition; however, the unequal role they play in their public participation is notorious, therefore, the objective of this article is to determine the economic and cultural factors that promote or inhibit the empowerment of women in collective organizations of rural tourism in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. The methodology employed was qualitative through the study of multiple cases and the application of semi-structured interviews with women from the municipalities of La Trinitaria and Amatenango del Valle in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. The results indicates that the incorporation of women in tourism work is considered an opportunity to access paid work and to have control over their economic resources; however, on a daily basis they experience a lack of self-confidence, a marked gap in the average of time spent on domestic chores and the permanent reproduction of patriarchal relationships.

Resumen
This study identifies the challenges involved in the well-being of older adults working in the Diana Córdova de Balboa market in the municipality of Tapa in Tabasco, Mexico. Qualitative exploratory research was carried out considering the phenomenological method, which investigates the set of experiences of these subjects. In this regard, semi-structured interviews were conducted with six older adults who have worked in the aforementioned space to obtain an approach to the reality of the more senior adult traders and, thus, to describe the challenges they face in this activity. Aspects such as health, changes in the ways of working, and particular circumstances, such as the family environment, are some of the challenges faced by older adults traders in this market; in addition to this, there is the emerging and uncontrollable situation derived from the Covid-19 pandemic that led them to the crossroads between working to feed themselves or confining to preserve their life and health. The analysis carried out reaffirmed that older adults are a sector of the population considered vulnerable due to conditions such as deterioration in their health, the impact of their socioeconomic levels, and lack of health systems and labor schemes; it can be seen how the fact of suffering from these challenges detracts and undermines their physical and psychological wellbeing. In this way, we seek to contribute to reflecting on the well-being of older people who work in independent commercial activities today and to rethink socioeconomic working conditions and support networks to promote their well-being.

Resumen
Categorical data analysis in qualitative research requires three interrelated phases: data reduction, descriptive analysis, and interpretation. The reduction allows summarizing the data collected and facilitating its subsequent understanding. To do this, it is necessary to categorize, code, record and tabulate. In this sense, the objective of this study is to describe the process followed to comply with these aspects in the development of a case study in administrative and managerial sciences. To exemplify the application of categorization, an investigation on dynamic capacities in a company in the alcoholic beverages sector in Venezuela is used. It is not intended to explain the results of the research, but to expose the process followed in the reduction of data from a qualitative analysis by categories. The elaboration of a code plan was shown to carry out the registration in a coding scheme by categories. In addition, the tabulation was made in order to condense, organize and demonstrate the characteristics and relationships of the information provided by the key informants. It is concluded that reduction of data for the qualitative analysis by categories requires defining categories and sub-categories for the investigation; develop a code plan; transcribe the interviews and assign line numbers to each copy; and develop descriptive matrices for each sub-category.

Resumen
This installment of Science and Society constitutes a journey through different social phenomena treated from different perspectives and contexts. An element that characterizes them is their reflective sense, basically mediated by qualitative research approaches and tools, an aspect that gives an analytical emphasis to this volume 48 number 2 of the journal...
