Resumen
This paper aims to delve into the content of the category of the aesthetic to see it in its relationship with life in general and not only with art. To this end, their evolutionary antecedents are considered, not with the purpose of finding in them a predefinition of what the aesthetic would be in the human being, but to seek that umbilical cord that ties the aesthetic to life. That is why the text focuses its attention on the qualitative differences of aesthetic relations with the reality of human beings in comparison with these evolutionary premises in the non-human world. This will lead to seeing in the aesthetic a social construction, but not divorced from life, but with a much more complex and socially conditioned type of vital bond. Within this general human dimension, an approach to art and its aesthetic values is offered, the realization of which is in the human enrichment that it promotes in its recipients. This enriching role could only be exercised in a subjectivity prepared for it and that preparation can only be offered by education, education that requires the educator himself to be educated. Hence the emphasis that must be placed on the place of aesthetics in the training process of future teachers.

Postgraduate education in nursing strengthens professional, research, and social competencies, enabling nurses to address global health challenges with a comprehensive and transformative approach. This study aimed to understand the perceptions of the significance of postgraduate nursing education from a social contribution perspective. Following a qualitative approach, four focus groups were conducted with the participation of 10 nursing professionals, using a semi-structured interview with five guiding questions aligned with the research objective, carried out between December 2023 and March 2024. Four categories and subcategories were identified: strengthening professional competencies, engaging in continuous self-assessment, and maximizing the social impact of nursing practice were found to be fundamental aspects of the profession. Additionally, promoting the visibility of the image and role of nurses within the health sector is crucial to ensure a better understanding of their contribution to societal well-being. In conclusion, strengthening competencies in scientific production, fostering self-assessment, and recognizing the social impact of nursing are essential to improve the quality of the profession, while enhancing the visibility of the nursing role in teaching and research is critical for its appreciation and recognition in society.

Commitment to the educational system may be affected by parents' low knowledge and lack of conviction. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to infer whether the degree of knowledge and conviction predict parental commitment to a denominational education system. A total of 250 parents with children of primary to middle school age from three schools in southern Angola participated in the study. Mean comparison tests and structural equation modeling were used for data analysis. The findings indicate that Knowledge social-spiritual correlates linearly positively and significantly with Knowledge physical-mental. Knowledge social-spiritual has a significant positive direct effect on Conviction social-spiritual and, this has a significant positive direct effect on Commitment social-spiritual and, a significant positive effect on Commitment physical-mental, who in turn, has a significant positive direct effect on Commitment social-spiritual and, this has a significant positive direct effect on Commitment development-continuity. In addition, Knowledge physical-mental has a significant positive direct effect on Commitment physical-mental. Therefore, knowledge and conviction are indispensable for parental commitment and facilitate the learning process.
