Introduction: Since the beginning of the outbreak, differences have been described between the clinical characteristics, evolution and prognosis of patients from different locations in Peru and the world. Objective: To determine the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of COVID-19 in patients from the community and the Lambayeque Regional Hospital. Methods: A study of quantitative approach, relational level and observational design with secondary data was carried out. The documentation technique was used, the data collected in the standardized COVID-19 clinical epidemiological investigation form of the Ministry of Health of Peru was verified. Results: Of 4,463 patients analyzed, 36.4 % had the presence of SARS-CoV-2, and of these the average age was 40 years, with the female sex being the most frequent (53.4 %). Of the total participants, 23.7 % had no symptoms, however, patients who reported cough, sore throat, malaise, fever/chills, dyspnea, anosmia, ageusia, and pharyngeal exudate were more likely to be infected with SARS- CoV-2. Of the positive patients for COVID-19, 40.2 % had some comorbidity. Likewise, the occupations of police/military, housewife, student and civil construction worker were more likely to test positive for COVID-19, while health personnel had a 33 % lower probability of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Conclusions: It is concluded that almost four out of 10 participants had SARS-CoV-2 infection, of which there was a predominance in men and people of economically active age. A quarter were asymptomatic. Cough, sore throat, malaise, and fever were the most frequent symptoms; likewise, respiratory distress, anosmia, ageusia, and pharyngeal exudate were less frequent, but represented a higher probability of infection. Almost two out of 10 patients had comorbidities such as cardiovascular problems, diabetes, asthma, and obesity. Regarding occupations, health personnel, police and housewives were the most affected groups.DeCS: COVID-19/epidemiology; SARS-CoV-2; SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS; COMORBILITY; RISK FACTORS.

Introduction: Ki67 is a regulatory protein of cellular cycle which is associated to the proliferation of tumoral cells. Its expression has always had an important role at the tumor classification and it is one of the prognostic and predictive factors in breast carcinoma. Objective: To determine the relationship between the expression of Ki67 and other classic prognostic factors used in breast cancer. Methods: A cross-sectional, analytic and descriptive study was carried out at the Teaching Clinic-Surgical Hospital Celestino Hernández, Villa Clara, from January 2017 to June 2019. It was included 286 women with diagnosis of infiltrating breast carcinoma, whose biopsies were studied by immunohistochemistry. The Ki-67 cell marker expression was categorized as low (Ki-6720 %). It was analyzed the relationship between level of expression of Ki67 and other classical prognostic and predictive factors. Results: The no special histological type (ductal carcinoma) was the type more often reported. High expression level of Ki67 was associated with the high histological grade (grade 3) and the overexpression of Her2. Low expression of Ki-67.Conclusions: The levels of expression of Ki67 showed significant association with several predictive and prognostic factors of breast carcinoma. No all at the same rhythm, but no one is exempt of the modifications that it entails the passage of time and the stomatognathic system, it is not the exception. Extraoral and intraoral modifications make them have some conditions, needs and different susceptibilities in this stage of life. Objective: To identify the influence of aging on the oral and dental structures in the older adult. Methods: An electronic search of literature was carried out in the electronic data bases with the help of search engines: PubMed, Medline, Cochrane, Hinari y SciELO. Key words were used to search for information such as: dentistry attention, older adult, aging, oral injuries, oral diseases, injuries premalignant, oral cancer; all of them were combined for the search. Results: The aging of the oral cavity is one of the uncharacteristic that unifies and defines all the human beings. During the same, various extraoral and intraoral changes and modifications are observed and cause new conditions to be had in the oral and perioral tissues at different stages of life; as its impact on structures such as teeth, periodontium, temporomandibular joint, salivary glands, skin, muscles, edentulism, oral mucosa, tongue and bone.
