Financial industry is competitive and driver of economic development. Environment is affected by decisions and investments made, and the society has concerns for future generations. Integrating these ideas, the concept of Sustainable Finance arises, that which, by conscience and own decision, provides socially and environmentally responsible products or services. Objective is evaluating performance and environmental commitment of financial entities, and their evolution as the dialogue linked between sustainability and industrial competitiveness progressed. A bibliographic review is carried out on the main conceptual and/or applied advances, including the efforts in Paraguay and in the region. It’s confirmed that institutions with sustainable products and services demonstrate good replicable practices to overcome the challenge. Becoming a Sustainable Bank is not an option, it is the path to take to stay competitive.

Current teachers receive in their classrooms students with diverse conditions, such as autism. It is essential that they have the necessary tools to provide a quality education. Understanding how teachers perceive their own abilities to include students with autism, known as self-efficacy is crucial. The objective of this study is to analyze the perceived level of self-efficacy of teachers for teaching students with autism in inclusive classrooms in Paraguay, and to examine the reliability and validity of the translated and adapted scale developed for this purpose. Regarding methodology, this is an observational, quantitative, exploratory, cross-sectional, and non-experimental study. A total of 121 teachers from different regions of Paraguay participated. The results show that 53.4% perceive their self-efficacy as medium, while 5.9% consider it low. This reflects a lack of confidence in their abilities to teach students with autism, particularly in the use of assessment strategies and the implementation of evidence-based practices. The adapted instrument proved to be reliable for research purposes. Considering these findings, it is important to emphasize that teacher self-efficacy is vital for the effective inclusion of students with autism. It is recommended to provide teachers with additional tools and supports to strengthen their skills in including these students in inclusive settings.

Climate change poses significant challenges to occupational health and safety, intensifying risks such as extreme heat, pollution, and vector-borne diseases. This study highlights the importance of intersectoral convergence, where intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations collaborate to develop policies and programs that promote healthy and sustainable work environments. Systematic review methodologies by PRISMA parameters and documentary qualitative research techniques were used to analyze reports from the WHO, ILO, UNEP, ICLEI, and the International Trade Union Confederation. The information was structured using an analysis matrix, allowing a detailed assessment of how these organizations integrate and apply intersectoral strategies. The conclusions say that occupational health in the era of climate change requires a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach that transcends traditional barriers between sectors, ensuring that responses are inclusive, effective, and sustainable. Examples of this collaboration include the integration of occupational health into the climate change policies of the WHO and UNEP, as well as ILO initiatives to promote decent work in a changing climate.

This study analyzes the factors affecting the academic performance of Mechanical Engineering students at FIUNA during the pandemic in 2020. The methodology used is observational, quantitative, and retrospective, with a sample of 66 students from the program. It focused on various aspects related to the virtual mode of classes, such as characteristics, challenges, and experiences. The results of the institutional survey conducted with students through a 5-dimensional questionnaire reveal formal aspects associated with learning, teaching for learning, assessment for learning, communication, and technological tools. The research highlights that university students face challenges such as academic pressure, time management, and financial limitations, especially in a pandemic context. The results reveal weak correlations between academic performance and the dimensions analyzed; however, there are other factors influencing students’ individual skills and capabilities in their evaluative process. Likewise, teacher preparation in the use of technological tools for virtual learning is fundamental. Understanding the intricacies of students is crucial for developing effective strategies that support their academic journey and future success.

This documentary research explores the relationship between evolutionary game theory and administrative sciences in commercial companies during the period 2018-2023. Evolutionary game theory, an extension of traditional game theory is used to model and analyze adaptive strategies in changing environments, with applications in business administration. This study analyzes how business firms apply principles of evolutionary game theory to improve strategic decision making, competitiveness, and organizational efficiency. Through a comprehensive review of the literature, several theoretical models were identified that demonstrate the implementation of these principles in administrative practice. The results indicate that companies that integrate concepts from evolutionary game theory tend to show greater adaptability and success in competitive markets. The discussion addresses the practical implications of these findings, as well as limitations and opportunities for future research. The conclusions highlight the importance of evolutionary game theory as a complementary tool in the formulation of administrative strategies, highlighting its relevance in the development of sustainable and efficient business policies. This study contributes to interdisciplinary knowledge by integrating game theory concepts with contemporary administrative practices, offering a robust theoretical framework for innovation in business management.

Based on experiences, during childhood people develop cognitive, affective and motor abilities, to comprehend different circumstances, to generate beliefs and to glimpse the future. An outstanding situation is housing and its environment, whether rural or urban. The representation of this can be expressed through drawing which allows revealing the construction of oneself, its reality, its significance and motivations. The purpose was to investigate, through pictorial representation, the way in which children from rural areas depict the place where they want to live as adults, which elements integrate it and how they are organized. The method was mixed. 145 children, aged from 6 to 13 years old, from seven rural schools in Guanajuato, México, were asked to draw their future house. Content analysis and statistical analysis of the drawings were carried out. The results showed children’s consciousness about space, the environmental conditions, and the desire to improve these conditions. This points out a construction generated among the participants about their development and their real and imagined context, which became apparent in differences and similarities of the illustrations, as well as in their vision of certainties, uncertainties and hope for future well-being.

This article has as its object of study the institutional scaffolding of the arts and crafts learning branch of the Industry and Commerce Section of the Royal Economic Society of Havana between 1839 and 1849. An analysis is carried out on the structuring and implementation of the control devices in the apprenticeship branch during the decade of its existence. Apprenticeship officials tried to ensure the social control of masters, officers and apprentices throgh apprenticeship deeds, penitentiary correction, and supervision over workshops, masters and their employees by neighborhood inspectors. In search of a new work ethic for marginalized urban sectors the apprenticeship branch expanded its initially conceived institutional limits, generating interactions and spaces of delimitation. In order to trace the way in which this scaffolding of power was manufactured and evolved, it was necessary to carry out an exhaustive analysis of the documentary and printed sources contemporaries to the Apprenticeship Branch. From them it emerged that the social discipline of the artisan sectors tied – through a legal architecture – the Havana intermediate manufacturing groups to the economic modernization project of the sugar elites at the dawn of the first industrialization in Cuba.

The Mexican textile industry faced socioeconomic problems from the sixteenth century to the MSMEs; the sexual division of labor in textile factories was a watershed in the wage gap in the socioeconomic context in conjunction with the allocation of activities. The objective of analyzing the wage gap and social transformations in the Mexican textile industry through a logical-historical methodology allowed us to capture the changes, trajectories and continuities to identify patterns and causal relationships that underlie the historical facts of this industry related to wages for more than six centuries. The socioeconomic metamorphosis of labor precariousness and wage inequalities of MSMEs and large factories are also visualized as the main variables in this research, resulting in the construction of comparative tables of wages between men and women, educational levels and the number of workers according to gender. Among the findings is the presence of female textile empowerment since the sixteenth century as a relevant phenomenon that consolidated this sector, which allowed concluding that manufacturing activities led by women contributed to the search for wage equity, the reduction of labor precariousness and the creation of MSMEs.

The revolution of February 1936 led to the fall of the liberal government of Eusebio Ayala; Faced with that defenestration, the Colorado Party pinned its hopes on the new national authorities to return to power after 32 years. With the aim of demonstrating the characteristics of the partisan press in the desire to have political power, the case of the red press in 1936 is analyzed, when its printed media made different assessments when it was in circulation during the government of Colonel Rafael Franco. To do this, a documentary analysis is used using articles from diario Patria and revista Guarania, journalistic organizations whose writer was the Colorado thinker Natalicio González, where they developed campaigns for or against the government according to the measures adopted. It is concluded that the initial support of the red press ended when it had no possibility of being part of power, showing that the expectations of a political sector regarding a new established order are favorable at the beginning; in the hope of reaching government spaces, but when they are excluded they criticize using their media, generating the reaction of the government, which ends up closing them.
