Kalimbahin Sports Drink is an alternative to create a healthy and natural sports drink for athletes and those who need rehydration. The study formulated a sports drink from locally grown vegetables and natural ingredients. The specific objectives are to analyze the safety of the prepared sports drinks based on the microbiological test and toxicity/heavy metal contamination and physicochemical properties based on pH and titratable acidity; to evaluate the nutritional value and composition of the formulated drinks through approximate nutrient calculator on total sugar, vitamins, and minerals. This research is an experimental type that was divided into two phases. The independent variables are the amount of sweet potato leaves and the source of sweet potato leaves, while the dependent variable is the nutrient contents. The controlled variables are the total amount of sugar, honey, fruit juice, and water. Phase I includes an initial analysis of the microbial load, heavy metal contamination, and physicochemical properties. Phase II involves the evaluation of the nutrient contents of the formulated Kalimbahin sports drink. Result showed that the components and composition of the beverage were well-formulated, which did not support the growth of any of the microorganisms that may affect the sensory properties of the freshly prepared sports drink or compromise the health and safety of the consumers. Analysis of its components highlights the presence of the electrolytes: sodium and potassium, which are essential components for a sports drink. The study concluded that Kalimbahin contains significant amounts of nutrients classified as a sports drink.

Industrial engineers are in high demand because of their focus on streamlining operations, enhancing productivity, and waste reduction across a wide range of industries. Several employers do not require industrial engineers to take certification exams because employers give more weight to qualifications than certifications. The Certification Exam for Industrial Engineering (CIE) is a significant milestone for aspiring industrial engineers to hold the key to career advancement and industry recognition. A certification exam is regarded as a milestone in an engineer's career. A great deal of preparation among the participants is necessary to ensure success in this exam. As such, it is essential to understand the factors that influence the preparation of candidates for this examination. This study looks into the variables influencing the Certification Examination for Industrial Engineering (CIE) preparation, including identifying the opportunities and difficulties the candidates face as they prepare for the exam in terms of internal and external motivators and other factors. The study's findings showed that the biggest reason for not taking the certification exam was a lack of money. Awareness of exam content helps in certification preparation and acts as a roadmap to the many subjects that are anticipated to be covered on the test. Based on the outcome, getting access to high-quality study materials is an essential certification exam preparation. An individual yearning for recognition is externally motivated to pass the certification exam. Involvement from alumni promotes supportive relationships and meaningful connections between students and alumni in many ways, including access to study resources.

This research explores the impact of transformational leadership on the attitude and quality of jobs in the manufacturing sector, increasing understanding of employee performance and organizational outcomes due to the gap found in the explanation of how the inputs of leadership translate into the outcomes of organizations. The present study found out that current studies reveal a weakness concerning few studies relating on transformational leadership to job quality, especially within the manufacturing setting. The objective of the present study was to examine the relationship of transformational leadership with job attitude and job quality while exploring if the relation between transformational leadership and job quality is mediated by job attitude. A quantitative research design approach has been utilized for this study. Data has been collected through structured surveys from 377 employees in the manufacturing sector, and the relationships are analyzed using descriptive, correlation, mediation analysis, and SEM. The findings revealed there is an extremely positive impact of transformational leadership on both job attitude and job quality, and, further, the relationship between transformational leadership and job quality is mediated by job attitude. Implications of the study suggest that adoption of transformational leadership can hold the potential of driving employees to be motivated, innovative, and perform generally, thereby enhancing quality jobs and subsequently organizational success.

This study evaluated the impact of climatic conditions on the thermal comfort and feed intake of buffaloes in the semi-arid region of Pernambuco. Climate data were collected over 13 months, from May 2023 to May 2024, at the Meteorological Station of the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) in Serra Talhada. The variables analyzed included air temperature, relative humidity, dew point, total solar radiation, and rainfall. Based on these data, the Temperature-Humidity Index (THI) and Feed Intake Reduction (FIR) were calculated. The results indicated that, for most of the year, temperatures exceeded the optimal range for buffalo thermal comfort, especially during the dry months. The high THI, driven by high temperatures and low humidity, pointed to significant thermal discomfort. This discomfort translated into a substantial reduction in dry matter intake by the animals, negatively impacting meat and milk production. The bioclimatic conditions in the studied region pose challenges to buffalo production, with periods of thermal stress leading to productivity losses. The adoption of appropriate management practices is essential to mitigate these effects and improve animal welfare and productivity, reducing economic losses in production.
