Abstract
Introduction: Femoral tumors in young adults cover a spectrum ranging from aggressive benign lesions to primary malignant neoplasms. Clinical and radiological characterization and a biopsy performed using an oncologic technique are essential for a safe therapeutic approach. Clinical case: A 35-year-old male with no comorbidities presented with progressive pain in his right thigh for three months, exacerbated at night, and with functional limitation. X-ray showed a lytic lesion in the femoral shaft with periosteal reaction; magnetic resonance imaging revealed intramedullary involvement and adjacent soft tissue edema. A coaxial needle biopsy confirmed high-grade bone neoplasia. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy was administered, followed by wide resection with reconstruction using an intramedullary nail and structural allograft. The patient's outcome was favorable with no recurrence at six months. Conclusion: In young adults with persistent bone pain, the integration of clinical, imaging, and pathological findings allows for timely diagnosis and limb-sparing procedures with adequate function.
Keywords: bone neoplasms; femur; osteosarcoma; wide resection; limb preservation.

Resumen
OBJECTIVE: determine the link between digital skills and technological training in university teachers. METHOD: documentary review was used, through direct consultation of ten bibliographic documents from 2013 to date. RESULTS: From the research consulted, the study on ICT training revealed that 94% of teachers recognize the lack of training on technologies, therefore, 69% request training for the creation of teaching materials and 41% to make efficient use of web resources. However, research on ICT training and digital competence mentioned that despite the lack of training, 48% of teachers make average use of ICT in traditional tools such as Power Point, Google, Gmail and almost do not use wikis, editors. web, blog editors and others with greater knowledge; Likewise, mention was made of the stages of technological involvement as central axes to promote the link between teacher training and digital competencies, highlighting that among them are: exposure, familiarization, adaptation, integration and transformation. CONCLUSION: the majority of teachers do not maintain their developed digital skills, as a result of the lack of technological training they have received during the years of teaching; This lack of explicit knowledge for the efficient use of digital resources leads to placing the teacher at a disadvantage in the face of technological transformation, because he only uses traditional tools, without obtaining the maximum benefit from digital resources.
