Resumen
Objective: As part of a project aimed at promoting fertility awareness developed by Fertility Europe, we intended to collect information from Portuguese adolescents regarding their perceptions and opinions about a possible serious educational game on this topic. Method: A focus group methodology was used. A script of questions to conduct the focus group was developed, and the participants’ inclusion and exclusion criteria were defined. After conducting the focus group with eight adolescents aged between 15 and 18 years old, a deductive data analysis was performed. Results: The participants considered their knowledge about fertility and the factors affecting it limited, emphasizing the usefulness of a fertility awareness educational game to deepen their understanding of these concepts, and reported being willing to play it. Adolescents highlighted the importance of aspects such as graphics, competitive attributes, entertainment expectations, learning potential, as well as the availability of a website with additional information in the development of the educational game. Potential barriers to using the game were also identified, including time spent using it, inadequate dissemination, a monotonous and tiring nature, and the fact that it may not match the interests of some young people. Conclusions: The participants expressed the desire to obtain more knowledge about fertility, considering the development of a serious game useful for this purpose and showing a willingness to use it. It was possible to understand the adolescents' preferences regarding the game's features, and it was suggested that these should be taken into account in its development.

Resumen
Objective: To adapt and validate the Psy-Flex for the adolescent population (PsyFlex-A). The aim was to analyse the PsyFlex-A factor structure, reliability, the model's invariance between genders, and associations between the PsyFlex-A, sociodemographic variables, and other variables of interest. Method: The sample included 309 adolescents between 12 to 18 years old (M = 14.91) and a mean of 9.56 years of education. The participants completed a protocol comprising the PsyFlex-A and a set of other self-report measures assessing mindfulness skills (CAMM), cognitive fusion and experiential avoidance (AFQ-Y8), psychopathological symptoms (DASS-21), and the perceived quality of life and well-being (KidScreen-10). A subsample of 45 participants completed the PsyFlex-A four weeks after the first administration to conduct a test-retest reliability analysis. Confirmatory factor analyses (CFA) were used to assess the scale's structure. A multi-group CFA was conducted to determine the measurement invariance across genders. Reliability and validity were also analysed. Results: The PsyFlex-A presented a single-factor structure and model invariance between genders, suggesting that the results are comparable between males and females. Moreover, it revealed adequate internal consistency and test-retest reliability. It showed positive associations with mindfulness skills and quality of life and negative associations with cognitive fusion/experiential avoidance and psychopathological symptoms. Finally, significant gender differences were found, with boys revealing higher values of psychological flexibility than girls. Conclusion: The PsyFlex-A proved to be a valid and reliable instrument for assessing Portuguese adolescents' psychological flexibility skills. The PsyFlex-A may be used as a screening instrument in educational and clinical settings.

Resumen
Objective: This systematic review aimed to assess scientific evidence regarding the association between body image and the decision to breastfeed during pregnancy. Methods: This study used the methodology proposed by the Joanna Briggs Institute and included studies from Scopus, Web of Science, B-On, and EBSCO. Inclusion criteria were primary studies published within the last 12 years, while gray literature, communications, and studies focusing on postpartum, body image, and newborn feeding were excluded. Results: The initial search yielded 77 articles, of which 73 were excluded after the identification process. Our analysis revealed that (i) there was a relationship between body image and the decision and duration of breastfeeding, and (ii) the decision to breastfeed seems to depend on a woman's positive or negative perception of her body. Conclusions: Understanding the influence of body image on the decision to breastfeed is crucial for health professionals to develop effective strategies for promoting this practice. However, the limited number of publications on this topic highlights the need for further research. Therefore, we suggest that future studies should investigate the relationship between body image and the decision to breastfeed and promote breastfeeding literacy among the general population.

Resumen
Background and Aim: The specificities of child welfare and protection systems have a major impact on professionals and, consequently, on the work with families. Clinical supervision is a strong ally in promoting the well-being and proficiency of professionals. Objective: The main purpose of this study was to conduct a literature review on the appropriateness of supervision models to the specificities of the context of welfare and protection of children and young people, considering the roles of supervision, the supervision models, and the challenges of the context. Method: A narrative review was conducted by searching for keywords, reading the abstracts of the articles found, and reading in full the articles that fit the defined theme. Articles on supervision and clinical supervision in social and child and youth promotion and protection contexts were analyzed. Results: A single-approach supervision model or eclectic models with divergent theoretical approaches that do not address the complexity of the family systems identified predominates. Conclusions: We advocate a model with an integrative reading frame but fundamentally supported by an eco-systemic view of child maltreatment and family functioning, which is aware of the institution's procedures and promotes effective support to the professional. Further studies should be conducted to evaluate the effective influence of supervision on the practice of professionals with families and to identify the characteristics of the models that make them effective in promotion and protection.

Resumen
Objective: Transitional care (TC) from hospital to home is a potential assessment indicator for the assessment of integrated and people-centered care. This qualitative exploratory-descriptive study aimed to identify principles of good practices in home-based TC after hospital discharge through content analysis of experiences shared by healthcare professionals in a workshop. Method: The workshop involved two moderators, four speakers, and 24 healthcare professionals divided into three groups. The speakers presented good practices in TC in healthcare, and the groups proposed TC strategies based on the speakers' presentations, their experiences, and their knowledge of healthcare. The proposals were recorded in audio and analyzed in terms of content. Results: According to the participants, the creation and implementation of a TC project involve contextualizing and defining the problem/need, objectives, target population, stakeholders and their roles, links, health-social-community partnerships, communication networks, and evaluation indicators of process and results. Conclusions: The importance of TC in hospital discharge was highlighted, providing insights for the creation and implementation of a successful TC project.

Resumen
Objective: Pregnancy and motherhood, while rewarding, can be challenging and transformative. The gestational and postpartum periods may cause various changes, making women susceptible to mental disorders like Postpartum Depression (PPD). This review aimed to present the current state of knowledge on pregnancy and PPD, with a focus on PPD prevention in pregnant women aged 20-40, as well as PPD prevalence worldwide and in Portugal. Methods: A non-systematic search of the literature was conducted using four databases: B-on, Scielo, RCAAP, and Google Scholar. One hundred articles published from 2002-2022 were selected for analysis. Results: Articles were classified into nine topics: Cognitive-Behavioral Theory Approach; Risk and Protection Factors; Diagnosis; Breastfeeding; Multidisciplinary Teams; Demystification of Pregnancy; PPD's Impact on Mother-Infant Relationship; Covid-19 Influence; and Environmental Sustainability. The analysis revealed that prevention research is limited, with existing studies focusing on intervention and treatment and emphasizing nursing health professionals. Conclusions: The current literature overlooks the potential benefits of multidisciplinary teams for better prevention and support for at-risk pregnant women. More research is needed to improve PPD prevention strategies.
Methods: A systematic search of the existing literature was performed using four digital databases: B-on, Scielo, RCAAP and Google Scholar.
Results: One hundred articles published from 2002 to 2022 were selected for analysis.
Conclusions: It was possible to verify that prevention is scarce. Existent studies focus more on the intervention and treatment of the pathology, giving more attention to nursing health professionals rather than multidisciplinary teams, which could contribute to better prevention of the condition and act appropriately for non-worsening of symptomatology in pregnant women at risk.

Resumen
Background and Aim: Social support can be a protective factor for children and youth, reducing the effects of stress and improving psychosocial and relational stability. This study aimed to understand the perception of social support among Portuguese children and youth and how it is influenced by their household composition. Methods: The Perception of Social Support from Friends and Family (PSS-Par and PSS-Fam) scales were administered in person and through Google Forms to 250 children and youth between 10 and 21 years old (M = 16.4 years), with 25.2% in residential care, 51.6% in intact nuclear families, 13.2% in single-parent families, and 10.0% in reconstituted families, mostly female (55.2%). Results: Children and youth in residential care perceived less social support from peers than those in other living arrangements (p < .05). Children and youth in residential care perceived less social support from family than those in intact nuclear families (p < .05). Conclusions: These findings highlight the importance of providing adequate social support for children and youth, especially those living in residential care, and in reconstituted families, as a protective factor for their psychosocial, relational, and social development.

Resumen
Background: The inclusion of people with disabilities in higher education is a significant social and academic challenge. Prejudice towards people with disabilities can pose a substantial barrier to their integration and academic success, making it essential to understand the factors among university students. Objective: This descriptive and cross-sectional study primarily focused on prejudice towards disability and aimed to (1) investigate the presence of prejudice and attitudes among university students towards disability; (2) ascertain whether prejudices and attitudes are influenced by demographic, academic factors, or previous contact with people with disabilities; and (3) explore the relationship between prejudice and specific attitudes towards intellectual disability. Methods: The sample included 104 students from the School of Education and Social Sciences at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. A questionnaire on prejudice and two scales on attitudes toward disability were used. Results: The data suggest low prejudice towards disability, with favorable attitudes towards intellectual disability. No relationship was found between prejudice and sex, age, or level of studies. However, no statistically significant relationship was found between general prejudice and specific attitudes toward intellectual disability. A significant relationship was found between socioeconomic status and prejudice. Conclusions: These findings can be fundamental in informing future interventions and inclusive policies aimed at promoting a more inclusive and receptive higher education environment.

Resumen
Agroforestry systems are an alternative land use and constitute a combination of agronomic and forest species. With the objective of characterizing the agroforestry systems of the San Francisco enclosure of the El Anegado parish, a floristic inventory was carried out and information was collected on the use and management of the components of the farms, between February and March, 2022; Margalef, Simpson, Shannon and Pielou Equity diversity indices were calculated. Among the inventoried species, Coffea arabica L., Handroaunthus billbergii (Bureau & K. Schum.) S. O. Grose and Theobroma cacao L. stand out; while, Cedrela montana Moritz ex Turcz.; Cecropia maxima Snethl. and Handroanthus chrysanthus (Jacq.) SO Grose, are categorized as vulnerable. In the El Palmital farm, food use predominates (54.55%) and in La Fortuna, timber prevails (51.72 %). The diversity indices in both farms showed high, medium and low values, according to the Margalef, Simpson and Shannon indices, respectively. The largest use of land in El Palmital is the planted area 74.23% (1.80 ha) and in La Fortuna the non-agricultural area dominated 55.88 % (0.95 ha). The characterization of agroforestry systems provides a better view of them, by conducting inventories of species that reflect their importance, management and organization, allowing redesign and optimization of their operation.

Resumen
Variations in the structure of plant leaves are mainly due to environmental variability. In many cases the way to acclimatize to unfavorable conditions. It is documented that in Cuba the anatomical and morphological characteristics of P. caribaea needles differ between ecotopes with different edaphoclimatic conditions. In this study, the effect of the position in the tree crown on the anatomy of the needles is analyzed. For this purpose, needles were collected from the lower, middle and upper part of 30 trees. The variables analyzed were thickness of the chlorophyll parenchyma, thickness of the transfusion parenchyma, height of the conduction tissue and width of the conduction tissue, cuticle thickness, epidermis thickness, hypodermis thickness, number of layers of hypodermis cells, number of channels and number of stomat. The results of the analyzes show a greater differentiation of the morphology of the needles towards the upper part of the tree, which is expressed by the increase in the thickness of the protective tissues and related to the greater exposure to the sun and lower relative humidity than they are exposed. The variables that contribute the most to differentiate the needles according to their position in the tree are the number of stomata and the number of cells in the hypodermis.
