Resumen
Introduction: Several studies have found that emotional intelligence plays a beneficial role in stress, burnout and mental illness. Studies in the Latin American context and in the health field are scarce. Objectives: to determine the association between emotional intelligence and burnout syndrome in health personnel, as well as the predictive power of emotional intelligence and other physical and psychological health factors in burnout. Methodology: This is a cross-sectional study carried out with 202 professionals from a hospital in Ecuador. The instruments consisted of a survey with sociodemographic and clinical data such as anthropometric measurements and vital signs. The Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), the Trait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS-24) and the PHQ-9 depression screening questionnaire were also used. Results: 71.2% of the participants presented clinical scores on at least one subscale of the MBI. 10.6% showed high emotional exhaustion, 23.7% showed high depersonalization and 50.5% showed low personal accomplishment. 12.4% showed burnout and 11.4% showed moderate to severe levels of depression. Emotional intelligence was found to be negatively associated with burnout and depression. Regression analysis indicates that high scores in depression are explained by the combined effect of excessive emotional attention, high burnout and low emotional repair. Conclusion: Healthcare personnel are exposed to human suffering and death, as well as to high levels of responsibility, which increase in times of crisis. All this leads to burnout, which in turn can lead to depression. It is necessary to implement individual and organizational protection strategies that enhance emotional intelligence as a way to avoid these psychosocial risks.

Resumen
Objective: to know the quality of life of parents of children with disabilities through a quantitative, exploratory and cross-sectional study. Participants: sample of 137 parents, 74.5% women and 22.5% men. Instrument: The Family Quality of Life Scale [ECVF] adapted to the Colombian population was used. Data processing: they were processed in the statistical program SPSS-24, using a parametric distribution (KS≥.05), with descriptive statistics, Pearson's bivariate correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression model by the method of successive steps to predict the total quality of life score based on the ECVF subscales. Results: most caregivers are women, housewives, married. The majority of caregivers have higher education and work full time. Most of the children of the participants have moderate disabilities. Regarding the Family Quality of Life Scale, the subscales are related in terms of measuring a total quality of life for parents of children with disabilities. Regarding the linear regression model, the "satisfaction with health and safety" subscale helps predict a higher quality of life for parents.

Resumen
Starting from the perspective offered by the concept of “social vulnerability” as a powerful analytical tool that allows for the visibility, among other things, of the acute uncertainty that many young people feel in relation to their future, tied to the questioning of the offerings of the educational system under the current conditions, and the sense of education being “threatened” in the face of the absence of guaranties for promoting and propitiating the fair and dignified access to the labor market and, as a consequence, its promise of upwards social mobility, this work intends to warn us about the extent and implications of the impact in terms of insecurity, instability, and precariousness of the regional socioeconomic context in which their personal and collective trajectories of schooling and life are inscribed, affecting their opportunities, dreams and hopes.
This work emphasizes ultimately, that in asking oneself and asking from the perspective of “situated adolescences” by the hopes, the future, the practices and their meanings, paths are enabled, not only to debunk the social discourse and institutionalized disciplines that reproduce supervised pathological identities and many types of exclusions, but also, to promote subjective movements in and among the protagonists themselves and the adults in charge of their accompaniment in both the area of mental health and education, by asking (themselves and us), for supposedly predefined paths, which present a challenge not only for the disciplines of Psychology and Psychiatry, but also a mayor challenge for the hegemonic paradigmatic versions of Pedagogy .

Resumen
The article shows results obtained from the research carried out at the Jaime Sabines Gutiérrez State Primary School, in Pueblo Nuevo Solistahuacán, Chiapas, during the SARS-COVID19 pandemic, in the 2020-2021 school year about the teaching difficulties faced by teachers, the didactic strategies used in the gestation of learning in students, and the way in which they were implemented. The qualitative paradigm was assumed with a descriptive and interpretive approach with an ethnographic orientation. The interview was used, through a script of questions, the cell phone and the audio recorder were used. The analysis carried out on the information allowed the construction of analysis categories, product of the speeches of the study subjects. Difficulties encountered: Adaptation of activities, absence of classes, poor support from parents, poor coverage of TIC´s; Strategies: Didactic booklets, rearrangement of practice, use of TIC´s, simple guides; Implementation: use of technological devices, home visits and delivery-reception of materials. The results showed the importance of the context to determine the way in which it intervenes according to the resources it has.
