Resumen
Introduction: root perforations are a frequent complication in endodontic practice. The prognosis of these teeth depends on several factors, such as the location, size, and the time elapsed since the perforation occurred. In recent years, treatment has evolved with the introduction of bioceramic materials, which provide superior sealing ability compared with traditional filling materials. Objective: to present a clinical case on the successful management of root perforation using bioceramic materials, including clinical and radiographic follow-up. Methodology: a clinical case is reported involving the surgical selling of a root perforation in the middle third of a previously treated tooth using bioceramic materials. Clinical and radiographic follow-ups were performed for 15 days, 1 month, 3, 6, and 9 months. Results: The patient remained asymptomatic, without signs of inflammation or dental mobility. Radiographic evaluation revealed appropriate periradicular tissue regeneration. Conclusions: although extensive root perforations are often considered lesions with poor prognosis, they do not necessarily imply the definitive loss of the tooth. This case demonstrates that, through timely intervention, the use of bioceramic materials and the correct application of biological protocols, it is possible to restore and maintain the functionality of the affected tooth. General Area of Study: Odontology. Specific area of study: Endodontic. Type of study: Clinical case.

Resumen
Introduction. Physical activity has been shown to be an effective strategy for the non-pharmacological management of gestational diabetes, contributing to glycemic control, reducing maternal-fetal complications, and improving quality of life. Therefore, it is important to compile and analyze current scientific evidence demonstrating the benefits of physical exercise in women diagnosed with this condition, thus promoting its therapeutic use by physical therapists as an integral part of treatment during pregnancy. Objective. To synthesize the available scientific evidence on the effects of physical exercise in pregnant women with gestational diabetes, considering its impact on glycemic control and its role as a therapeutic strategy. Methodology. A systematic review that followed the guidelines of the PRISMA declaration. Results. Structured and supervised exercise consistently improves glycemic control in GDM. Additionally, resistance exercise may have a slight advantage in postprandial glycemia. Professional supervision enhances the metabolic and psychosocial benefits of exercise-based interventions, improving quality of life. Conclusion. Aerobic and resistance exercise improve fasting and postprandial glycemia, with the latter being more sensitive to resistance training. However, unsupervised activities, such as postprandial walking without personalization, can be ineffective or counterproductive. Professional supervision ensures an adequate therapeutic dose and optimizes metabolic effects. General Area of Study: Health Sciences. Specific area of study: Physiotherapy. Type of study: Systematic bibliographic review.

Resumen
This article seeks to highlight an architecture that is often unknown within the missionary region of Rio Grande do Sul (currently associated only with the Jesuit-Guarani Reductions): the popular architecture of German immigration. Furthermore, it intends to reflect on a process that has proliferated throughout the State, especially in so-called theme parks: the relocation and recomposition of Fachwerk half-timbered constructions, the construction technique most used by immigrants. This process, which often aims to preserve that material heritage, implies, however, the rupture of the architecture-place relationship, which makes such tourist-cultural spaces targets of criticism by preservationists. On the other hand, when investigating the origins of this way of building, it is clear that the possibility of disassembly and reassembly is part of the elementary principle of half-timbering, which has been explored for centuries. Thus, this qualitative study, of a bibliographic and documentary nature, seeks to promote this vernacular architecture, while valuing its memory and heritage, in addition to tensioning the process of translocation of this construction technique, which is still little investigated. It allows us to conclude that transfers are recommended as exceptional operations, prioritizing the safeguarding of the property in its original location. If, however, it is indeed unfeasible, maintaining its cultural significance, as well as documenting the entire process and methodological rigor, must be prioritized.

Resumen
In the view of the writer, intellectual and social scientist Gilberto Freyre (1900-1987) the house it is always full: of people, animals, things, of visible and invisible bodies. Everything was multiplied by meanings, by layers of feeling, values, and even mystical correspondence between things. We present in this paper part of the layers of reality that Freyre tried to interpret around the house, constituting a particular investigation matrix. Our focus is on the symbolic and fantastic that surrounds the house, based on its tangible support, the things and the animals. The world that Gilberto Freyre sees is full of people, animals, things and evocations, where the present is crossed by the past, real or imaginary, in a dense and tangled web. The Freyrean interpretative method ends up being a sociological modality of the doctrine of correspondences, where a kind of portolan of the imaginary can be outlined, with still fruitful application.

Summary:
This article reconstructs the forms of problematization, the articulations, and tensions that arise around the issue of insecurity and youth through an analysis of the discussions and positions of workers from popular sectors during the period 2022-2023 in Argentina. Within the framework of our fieldwork with workers from socio-occupational groups in popular sectors, it was possible to observe different articulations between the issue of (in)security and youth. This association is not presented homogeneously; rather, multiple ways of problematizing the link coexist. The figure of youth is wrapped up in imaginaries that place them in opposite places on the scene: while some people identify young people as victimizers, supposedly responsible for criminal acts; others recognize them as subjects affected by various situations of exclusion and violence, positioning them as victims (of violence and insecurity). In this sense, in the focus group discussions conducted with workers from popular sectors, in a "post-pandemic" scenario, diverse, and in many cases contradictory, perspectives and explanations were brought into play regarding the connection between youth and the issue of security and violence.

Summary
This article examines municipal youth policies implemented in Asunción (Paraguay) and its metropolitan area between 2015 and 2020. Using a qualitative approach based on focus groups with former youth directors, it identifies institutional advances such as the creation of youth units, scholarship programs, and participatory initiatives. However, structural obstacles persist, including limited resources, political interference, and weak intergovernmental coordination. The findings reveal a fragmented institutionalization highly dependent on individual leadership. The article concludes that strengthening local youth policies in urban contexts requires a multi-scalar state architecture with a territorial approach, normative and financial support, and effective mechanisms for youth participation.

Summary
Contrary to what one might think, climate changes do not affect the entire population in the same way. Layers of social vulnerability, built historically, overlap social groups, to which the environmental crisis is added. This only serves to deepen urban inequalities, increasingly exposing the contradictions and exhaustion of a paradigm that causes the worst effects to fall on those least responsible for the causes of this dystopian scenario. On the front lines of this struggle are several insurgent movements and community initiatives, which have focused on the issue of climate justice, evoked as one of the possible paths to building a more equitable future in large urban centers.

Summary
The relationship between employment status and schooling is complex, non-linear, and controversial. Child and adolescent labor is a problem strongly associated with poverty and inequality, and is one of the flip sides of school dropout. Involvement in work tasks becomes an obstacle to educational trajectories due to lower performance or dropout, affecting future trajectories in the labor market and citizenship building, reproducing and widening gaps between social sectors. This article focuses on the analysis of statistical evidence available in our country regarding the educational trajectories of a sector of children, and particularly adolescents, who continue to attend school while participating in various work activities to contribute to the well-being of their households.
The starting point is the evidence that emerges from the Survey of Activities of Children and Adolescents (EANNA), the main survey on the subject in the country. However, this source presents significant challenges due to the time that has elapsed since its last measurement (2017) and the uncertainty about its future periodicity. Thus, the article aims to analyze the possibility of articulating different available statistical sources to deepen and update the evidence from the latest EANNA, as well as to discuss the limitations and gaps of this articulation.

Resumen
Introduction: Celiac disease (CD) is a chronic autoimmune digestive disorder that affects the villi of the small intestine, this condition leads to poor absorption of nutrients. nutrients, causing the development of other pathologies, among which anemia stands out. The exact etiology of CD is unknown; however, studies indicate that there are environmental, genetic, and immunological factors that can trigger iron deficiency disease, early detection. It is vitally important to prevent severe complications. Objective: To analyze the prevalence and risk factors in celiac disease that lead to developing iron deficiency anemia. Methodology: The present research was based on a bibliographic review, using the PRISMA method for the collection and analysis of scientific articles on celiac disease (CD) and its association with iron deficiency anemia, in such a way that the quality, reliability and suitability of the information. To search for information, keywords are used such as: “Gluten,” “celiac disease,” “iron deficiency anemia,” integrating the connectors “y/AND” and “o/OR.” To compile the bibliographic information, scientific review articles were used with the contribution of journals, scientific studies, using Google academic, databases such as PubMed, Scopus, Elsevier and SciELO as a tool. Results: After analyzing the information collected from the 15 articles, it can be seen that of the 15 articles included, in which patients of different ages are studied, starting from children under 10 years of age to older adults, 3 articles mention that celiac disease (CD) is more common in people between 30 and 40 years old, representing 20%, however, 8 articles mention that the pediatric population, especially children under 10 years old, are the most vulnerable to suffering from celiac disease (CD), representing 53.33%, finally, within this same population, 4 articles mention that vulnerability is greater in children with Down syndrome (DS) and Turner syndrome, representing 26.66%. Conclusion: In the present study, it was possible to identify the populations vulnerable to suffering from celiac disease (CD), with children under ten years of age being the most affected, children with Down Syndrome (DS) and Turner Syndrome (TS) due to the genetic predisposition that They present and to a lesser extent adults between the third and fourth decade of life. The risk factors in celiac disease (CD) that lead patients to develop iron deficiency anemia are three: nutrient malabsorption, peeling of the intestinal epithelium and intestinal microbleeds. The relationship between the severity of celiac disease and the development of iron deficiency anemia, patients who have not been correctly diagnosed present complications that aggravate the clinical picture, therefore, the severity of celiac disease (CD) will be older and the risk of developing iron deficiency anemia will be higher, the same occurs in the case of patients correctly diagnosed, with adequate treatment but who are not adherent to the gluten-free diet (DLG). General study area: Clinical Laboratory. Specific area of study: Immunology. Type of article: systematic bibliographic review.

Resumen
Introduction. Breastfeeding is essential for child development, providing essential nutrients and strengthening the immune system. However, various sociocultural factors influence early weaning, which can affect the health and well-being of children under two years of age. In Ecuador, the rate of exclusive breastfeeding is variable, depending on the geographical area and the mother's educational level. Objective. Identify the determining factors in weaning from breastfeeding in children under two years of age. Methodology. A systematic review was conducted using the PRISMA-ScR methodology, analyzing scientific articles published between 2018 and 2023 in databases such as PubMed, SciELO and ScienceDirect. 27 studies were selected after applying inclusion and exclusion criteria. The factors associated with weaning were classified into sociocultural, biological, and social categories. Results. The main factors identified include maternal age, educational level, access to breastfeeding information, labor regulations, and cultural beliefs about infant feeding. Mothers with less access to education or community support have higher rates of early weaning. Likewise, biological conditions such as hypogalactia or the perception of insufficient milk production affect the continuity of lactation. Work factors and the lack of adequate spaces to breastfeed also contribute to early abandonment. Conclusion. Weaning in children under two years of age is a process influenced by multidimensional factors. It is necessary to strengthen maternal education strategies, community support and breastfeeding protection policies to promote its continuity. Understanding these variables will allow the development of effective interventions to reduce early weaning and improve child health. General area of study: Health. Specific area of study: Nursing. Type of study: Original article.
