Resumen
The objective of the study was to characterize the indicators of personal and social development of educational centers in the province of Concepción, Chile. The research method presented a descriptive-inferential design in a sample of 330 schools selected by non-probabilistic sampling. The analysis techniques used were measures of central tendency, one-factor anova and Student's t-test. The results show that there are significant differences in the mean scores of the school coexistence climate indicator (F (3.936); sig. = 0.020) and the healthy life habits indicator (F (3.620); sig. = 0.028). It is also observed that there were significant differences in the mean scores of the respectful environment dimension (F (4.091); sig. = 0.018), the safe environment dimension (F (5.818); sig. = 0.003), the eating habit dimension (F (6.751); sig. = 0.001) and, finally, the participation dimension (F (6.625); sig. = 0.002). In addition, it is identified that in the healthy life habit indicator variable there is a statistically significant difference in the score between the means of the rural and urban educational centers. We conclude that there is a need to stabilize the statistics between public, subsidized and private schools, as well as between urban and rural educational units.

Resumen
The acquisition of reading skills allows the student to have a better personal development in a more critical society. Faced with this, the objective was to implement interactive strategies to improve reading comprehension in elementary school students in times of pandemic. The methodology was carried out through quantitative research, of an applied type, quasi-experimental design. It was applied to a research group of 106 students, of which 50 of them received the programmed impact of Solé's interactive strategies. The experimental group was applied the pre-test and post-test, of which 56 students from the control group were the ones who worked regularly. The results that are evident in the experimental group reflect a higher percentage significance through data analysis, compared to the control group that reduced the use of routine strategies. The effectiveness of reading skills and the intervention of Solé's interactive strategies allowed the experimental group to improve their levels of reading comprehension.

Resumen
Introduction: Periodontitis is a periodontal disease of bacterial origin that frequently affects and may destroy the periodontium. Menopause occurs exclusively in women and is defined as amenorrhea lasting more than 12 consecutive months, accompanied by estrogen deficiency, which can lead to osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is characterized by a decrease in bone mineral density, weakening the bones and increasing the risk of fractures. Objective: To highlight the influence of female sex hormones on periodontal changes after menopause. Materials and Methods: Articles published up to 2022 were selected using the following keywords: female sex hormones, menopause, periodontal disease, periodontitis, and their equivalents in English: "female sex hormones," "menopause," "periodontal disease," and "periodontitis. "Results: It is challenging to isolate a specific factor related to menopause that directly contributes to periodontal disease. The simultaneous accumulation of multiple risk factors, interacting with each other, appears to have a more significant influence on the progression of periodontal disease. However, estrogen deficiency or osteoporotic conditions may exacerbate periodontal disease and increase the likelihood of recurrence after treatment. Conclusion: It is the responsibility of the dental surgeon to assess each patient individually, using clinical and radiographic data, supported by scientific knowledge, to provide appropriate therapeutic resources for managing periodontal diseases during the climacteric phase.

Resumen
Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia (VAP) is one of the most frequent Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs) in intensive care settings. Therefore, packages were designed to prevent this condition, with the aim of reducing its incidence in Intensive Care Units and increasing patient recovery rates. This study carries out an integrative literature review from 2020 to 2024, in the Google Scholar, Virtual Health Library and National Library of Medicine databases, with the aim of synthesizing the main findings on the prevention of packages in the incidence of VAP. From the reading, it was possible to infer that the packages have a satisfactory performance in most hospitals, especially in smaller institutions. Some barriers in implementation can compromise the results, such as the low rate of adherence of professionals to all items of the package and the lack of available resources. The packages usually include items such as head elevation of 30° to 45°, oral care, maintenance of cuff pressure, discontinued sedation, appropriate locations for the ventilation system, subglottic suction, hand hygiene and respiratory physiotherapy. The use of strategies to ensure adherence to all elements by caregivers is important, such as the use of mnemonics and surveillance. In addition, continuing education can be applied; it has been shown that recurring training can be good allies in maintaining good practices regarding VAP prevention. We can conclude that there are some obstacles to be overcome, however, the use of the package is extremely beneficial.

Resumen
The article aims to highlight Dona Ivone Lara's trajectory in mental health and samba. She worked as a nurse and social worker in Rio de Janeiro until retiring from her job at a psychiatric hospital. She was also a partner of psychiatrist Nise da Silveira in using artistic expressions with the patients. Through an integrative literature review, we observed the relevance of Ivone Lara's legacy in using music as an innovative strategy for mental health, demonstrating a humanized and anti-asylum perspective for black people institutionalized in Brazil. Finally, we emphasize samba as a constitutive element of quilombagem, religiosity, rhythm, and corporeality in opposition to the various policies of oppression and erasure inherent in Brazil's colonial system.

Resumen
Introduction: Female homosexual sexual practices were made invisible, especially during the AIDS epidemic. The understanding that the population of women who have sex with women (MSM) was less vulnerable to infection through sexual intercourse made the perception of lesbian and bisexual women absent, with regard to the use of condoms as a method of protection against HIV/AIDS. Method: An exploratory and descriptive survey was carried out with a cross-sectional and quantitative approach. It was carried out at the Specialized HIV/AIDS Assistance Service located at Hospital Oswaldo Cruz, in the city of Recife between May and December 2021 and the target population was made up of women who declared having sex with women and with women and men. Results: 96.19% of the interviewees responded that they had knowledge of the means of HIV transmission, 56.19% stated that they took measures to prevent HIV/AIDS, but only 30 (41.09%) responded that they used condoms. Discussion: The study revealed that despite knowledge, the perception of the absence of risk leads most of the interviewees to not carry out adequate prevention practices. The lack of perception of the risks that MSM have of HIV/AIDS infection occurs due to the certainty of not being infected in sexual relations between women, causing greater confidence and belief in less need for the use of condoms for protection. Final considerations: Thus, the main factors that influence the increased vulnerability of MSM to HIV/AIDS infection are the belief in low vulnerability, the lack of clarification about possible means of prevention and the absence of educational actions aimed at the lesbian and bisexual public.

Resumen
Pharmacists play a fundamental role in monitoring the rational use of medicines. In this sense, they are an essential professional in monitoring patients with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). With this in mind, this literature review reports on pharmaceutical care for patients with GDM. To this end, an active search was carried out for articles published in Portuguese and English between 2019 and 2024 in different databases. Six relevant articles were selected for this review, from which important information was extracted to generate tables for better description and understanding of the data. The results indicated a scarcity of recent articles dealing directly with pharmaceutical care for pregnant women with GDM during the period in question. This assistance, based on the six articles, consisted of dispensing antidiabetic drugs; counseling on lifestyle changes, with or without supplementary drug treatment; the Medication Therapy Management Service; and the use of a smartphone application led by a clinical pharmacist for better drug therapy management. This reinforces the need for greater investment in scientific research into the potential of pharmacists to monitor and treat metabolic diseases such as GDM, as well as encouraging these professionals to perform their duties with quality.

Resumen
The use of antibiotics in children is a frequent practice in pediatric medicine, often necessary to treat bacterial infections. However, these medications can be associated with a variety of adverse reactions, which can range from mild to severe. Given this fact, the present study sought to question which adverse reactions arise from the use of antibiotics in children? To respond to this problem, we sought to gather and analyze recent data on adverse reactions to the use of antibiotics in child patients, as well as analyzing the incidences and types of adverse reactions; list the risk factors for the pediatric population in the use of antibiotics and identify management and prevention approaches that can be adopted to minimize the risk of adverse reactions. The methodology included a literature review according to the standards of the integrative review. The results indicated that adverse reactions to antibiotics in children are common, affecting a considerable proportion of patients. The most frequently reported reactions include skin rashes, gastrointestinal upset, and allergic reactions such as hives and anaphylaxis. Furthermore, the importance of continuous surveillance and education of health professionals to mitigate adverse reactions arising from the use of antibiotics in children was highlighted.
