Resumen
This article identifies the conceptual elements, instruments and relevant processes to project in the legal framework the mechanisms for the preservation of the tangible and intangible values of the assets belonging to the cultural heritage of the Cuban nation. For this purpose, it was necessary, at first, to review the specialized bibliography in order to determine the main theoretical and methodological currents that have an impact on the professional performance of architects, engineers, conservators and related personnel. Secondly, an exegesis of the legal regimes of Germany, Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal and Venezuela has been carried out to determine the regulatory trends in this regard. The theoretical and normative references obtained have been approached from the distinction between conservation and restoration, and the contemporary meaning of sustainability that accompanies both categories. These conceptions are relevant to examine the current legal regime for the protection of Cuban cultural heritage in order to suggest its improvement in its most integral dimension.

Resumen
This research analyzes the houses of Tumán, from the heritage point of view, with the aim of understanding their heritage values, from the perspective of their social actors. Based on a qualitative methodology and with a phenomenological design, defining the object, the subjects and the place. The analyzes carried out are based on the information obtained in the field, through face-to-face and virtual interviews. In addition, it is worth mentioning that the information was collected in situ, measuring, taking photographs and flying over the study site. As a result, the object presents various estimates by its subjects, with a predominance and even absence of values. To finally conclude, on the importance of the participation of social actors as patrimonial subjects, since it is they who determine the values that the object possesses, understanding in this sense that the value of a patrimonial object is not intrinsic, but extrinsic.

Resumen
Introduction: trigeminal neuralgia has been referred since ancient times as one of the most intense facial pains; its etiology is controversial and its prevalence rises along with life expectancy. Objective: to integrate criteria on the etiology of trigeminal neuralgia. Methods: documentary review through an automated search in the databases PubMed/Medline, Cochrane Library, Scielo, Medigraphic and Science Direct, using the Google Scholar search engine, during the period from March 2021 to the same month of 2022. Thirty-one articles related to the proposed objective were selected; 23 (74.2%) are updated. Results: the causal factors of trigeminal neuralgia (trauma, infectious diseases and compression by neighboring anatomical structures or tumors) promote an inflammatory process in the connective tissue that composes the nerve, the release of leukocyte products causes its destruction and the nervous tissue is exposed; action potentials are triggered that cause the painful symptoms typical of the disease. Conclusions: the development of an inflammatory process in the connective tissue constituent of the trigeminal nerve causes a decrease in the excitability threshold of the affected fibers and provokes pain in response to different stimuli.

Introduction: chronic kidney disease is defined by the presence of kidney damage and has a negative impact on the health and quality of life of patients. Periodontitis is the chronic inflammation of the supporting tissues of the tooth. Objective: to describe the association that has been established between these two diseases. Methods: a documentary type study was carried out, with an updated review of scientific articles from databases such as Pubmed, Scielo and Google Scholar in the period from October 2021 to February 2022. Twenty-five scientific texts written in Spanish and English published between 2017 and 2021 were selected. Results: most of the literature consulted describes that there is a direct relationship between both diseases, the constant presence of uremia, as well as poor oral hygiene in these patients, is related to immune dysfunction that decreases the host response to bacteria. Conclusions: in periodontal disease there is a permanent inflammatory state that aggravates the prognosis of chronic renal failure, so it is necessary to maintain an adequate oral health to avoid systemic complications in vulnerable patients such as those with chronic renal disease.
