Resumen
The objective of this study was to evaluate the performance of five cauliflower cultivars under conventional and alternative phytosanitary management system - without the use of synthetic pesticides. Two experiments were carried out at Epagri, Ituporanga Experimental Station in February 2018 and 2019. In each management a randomized block design with four replications was adopted, with plots of twenty plants of each cultivar, useful plot consisting of six central plants. The seedlings were planted over millet and velvet bean straw in a spacing of 0.5 m x 0.8 m. Aspects related to agronomic yield, quality of inflorescences, damage caused by pests and plant diseases, especially bacterial and fungal rot, were evaluated. The cauliflower hybrids Vera, Verona and Serena stood out in yield and quality, being the most suitable for sowing in summer / autumn off-season crops in the region of Alto Vale do Itajaí, SC, Brazil. The most productive cultivars were less damaged by bacterial diseases and defoliator caterpillars and without whitefly infestation interference in the yield. The results also reveal that it is possible to control pests and diseases using phytosanitary products with lower content of synthetic pesticide residues.

Resumen
This study aimed to quantify the amount of free residual chlorine present in the samples and to evaluate which doses comply with the Consolidation Ordinance. To carry out the study, we used cyanobacterium Cylindrospermopsis raciborskii, recurrent in flowering in Brazilian springs. Chlorine gas was the oxidation selected due to its low-cost and easy handling. Analyses were performed at 1,0 x 104 and 1,0 x 106 cells.mL-1 and at 30 min and 24 h contact times. The results showed high chlorine consumption and, consequently, low concentration of free residual chlorine.

Resumen
Considering the Aramanaí Protected Areas (PA) boundary reduction scenario in Belterra (PA), Brazil, the objective of this paper is to characterize the land use and cover in the PA in 2004, 2014 and 2018, contextualizing its importance as a priority area for biodiversity conservation in the Amazon. A database containing TerraClass Project land use and land cover classes was used to calculate areas, and tabulate the changes that occurred in the period prior to the approval of municipal law no. 237/2017. For further analysis, supervised classification of the image of the Sentinel-2 satellite was performed with enhancement, segmentation and mapping of classes procedures. The results showed forest cover as the main class with more than 60% of the area, and the expansion of built-up areas in the period before the creation of the amending law. It was found that, of the total area excluded, 21.5 km² are plant cover, and that during this period there was acceleration of anthropization at various points. Thus, it is demonstrated that changes occurred in the Aramanaí PA and the importance of systematizing information to support discussions that may contribute to the environmental management in the region.

Resumen
This study was conducted under the Research Teaching methodology, based on the assumptions of the Theory of Meaningful Learning. Our objective was to investigate the effectiveness of using a simple experiment to aid the teaching-learning of concepts and magnitudes in Newtonian mechanics. The experimental practice allowed not only the observation of the phenomenon, but also the acquisition of data with the aid of the Lexis Audio Editor mobile application. The interdisciplinarity between Physics and Mathematics was present when designing an apparatus in which these familiar geometric shapes were used: line, parabola and cycloid. The product was applied to a class in the 1st year of a public High School in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It was observed that the activity enabled conceptual change, allowing students to reconstruct and expand their learning. They also developed experimental skills considered to be quite relevant to basic training in formal education.

Resumen
The Alternaria leaf blight of carrot (Alternaria dauci (Kühn) Groves & Skolko) is the main disease and has compromised crop productivity. As the epidemiology of the disease in Brazil is unknown, the objective of this work was to characterize the temporal and spatial progression of this disease in the cultivation conditions in the southern region of Brazil. Carrot seeds of Brasília cultivar were sown in four blocks of 270 plants each. The initial incidence of the disease in the planting line was used for the spatial analysis through the run and doublet tests and its results analyzed by the value (± 1.64) standardized in the Z test at 5% probability. The severity of the disease was analyzed in 120 plants through a diagrammatic scale in 120 previously demarcated random plants and the severity data were adjusted to a nonlinear model throughout the cycle of culture. It was found that the spatial pattern of the disease was over 99% at random for both tests. The disease progress curve was fitted to the Gompertz model, represented by y=0.253356*(exp(29.59929*exp(- 0.69466*x))). This study will serve as a model for work related to the disease.

Resumen
According to the National Civil Protection and Defense Policy, disaster management in Brazil has its actions coordinated by civil defense agencies. However, the complexity involved in disaster processes makes the constant intervention of other public policies and their agents’ a reality. In this context, the role of social assistance stands out. Responsible for most of the assistance to those affected by disasters, the performance of the agents requires an effective interaction with civil defense agencies, which is a challenge in itself. fterefore, the discussion around intersectoriality is urgent and necessary. fte study starts with a review of the literature on the different understandings about this concept, followed by text analysis of documents by the National Social Assistance Policy and the National Civil Protection and Defense Policy, aiming at identifying how intersectoriality is present in each of them. As a result, the existing intersectoriality generates auxiliary interdisciplinarity and elements that favor its construction in a collective and participatory way.

Resumen
The water shortage that affected several cities between 2014 and 2015 in the Southeast Region evidenced the fragility of the Brazilian model of water resources management, with the Macaé River Basin (Rio de Janeiro) being an example of this scenario. Despite its regional importance, forecasts point to the commitment of water supply impacting human life and economic activities, including oil exploration in Campos Basin in the coming years. Given this scenario, it is expected that Environmental Education in licensing can promote reflections on water management, systematizing information and creating channels of communication between government and the people. This study also discusses the role of the university and the generation of subsidies for discussions on water resources.

Resumen
To generate a diagnosis for managers of basic education in Arraial do Cabo, this study aimed to investigate the temporal monitoring of 30 parameters related to the enrollment quantity and infrastructure conditions of schools by consulting the results of the 2011 to 2018 School Census. For this, we extracted data from six variables related to the enrollment quantity and another 24 related to the infrastructure conditions in schools on the website https://www.qedu.org.br. In this study, 22 active schools were investigated in the municipality. Regarding the enrollment quantity, the Center for Youth and Adult Studies presented a prominent role. Nine variables related to school infrastructure were present in more than 75% of the schools investigated. We expect that this study can be useful as a basis for public managers and private network managers to improve the infrastructure conditions of schools. That can improve the teaching learning process and the global formation of the students, so they will be able to have a critical position in face of an increasingly complex and challenging society.

Resumen
The general objective of this study is to evaluate the application of a support system in the management of chest pain cases in remote areas. This is a cross-sectional study, which evaluated 22,000 medical consultations, carried out from January 2015 to January 2019, with a population of employees from several companies in the oil and gas sector, served by a multinational central in a capital in Brazil. In the period from January 2015 to January 2019, 22,643 consultations were carried out in deep waters (offshore), of which 907 generated a non-urgent disembarkation or referral to the hospital due to medical recommendation and 97 aeromedical evacuations (Medevac - removal or medical disembarkation of emergency by air ambulance). Of these 97 Medevacs, 26 were due to cardiac complaints. Through the results obtained, we show that with the cardiac diagnostic kit and health professional, the indication of these disembarks were all correct and necessary, as confirmed in the in-hospital assistance.
