ABSTRACT:The coke oven batteries plant and by-products of the Empresa Nacional Siderúrgica S.A. has dominated the new industrial landscape of the city of Avilés (Asturias) since the middle of the 20th century. In their urban and architectural approaches, the batteries combine functional and aesthetic values characteristic of the Modern Movement. Due to the quality and transcendence of its values the plant has been conferred a recognized patrimonial interest, together with the rest of the facilities of the factory, by means of its inclusion in the spanish National Industrial Heritage Plan. After the ending of its productive activity in 2019, several scientific institutions have expressed the need to conserve and to give new uses to the coking plant, the storage buildings and auxiliary workshops and the machinery as the material evidence of one of the most ambitious and valuable projects of the Instituto Nacional de Industria. Keywords: Industrial Heritage; metallurgy; Avilés; architecture; modern movement

ABSTRACTEstablished the notorious women absence in History and Market of Art, through the article it tries to resolve if social networks are available skills for the improvement of female artist´s position. Therefore, after checking news every day about this topic, studying status of the issue, it is possible to venture that we are attending to a new artistic movement´s birth, feminist mainstream which creates an own and distinguishing place, for first time in the History of Art and with powerful elements of definition. Besides, certain social networks have become into the best mean of communication among female artist, a place to share experiences, ideas, and make public new profiles and exhibitions. Despite that, those changes don´t seem enough to predict a paradigm´s qualitative change, so we have serious doubts of phenomenon´s significance in the long term. Keywords: female; artist; feminism; anthropology; fine arts; social networks

ABSTRACT:National Fine Arts Exhibitions are a factor of great importance to appreciate contemporary Spanish art. Open in 1856, these exhibitions were its main promotional way for more tan a century and their celebration became not only artistic events, but also social. An Official Catalogue was published, identifying titles and authors. But they also created guides and parallel editions, as well as a great number of press reviews. We deal specifically with humorous catalogues which spoofed in satirical verses these exhibitions contents. It is an unique and little known source, written to serve as a visitor guide while visiting the exhibition. Authors were well-stablished writers and also art critics, who combined great literary skills, inventiveness and sense of humour. The article discusses these sources and provides enjoyable examples which offer an alternative way to art criticism in the last third of the 19th century. Keywords: National Exhibitions; Catalogue; Art Criticism; Humour; Spanish Art.
