Resumen
Due to the importance of the granulometry, within the area of knowledge in the field of construction, the same that allows us to study and know the size of the aggregates at the moment of making a mixture, as is the case of coarse aggregate, within the study of the porosity the concrete. This investigation has as main objective, to evaluate the maximum size of the aggregate and it’s influence on the porosity of a concrete, made with glass fiber as a substitute for this; through Goran Fagerlund's methodology. For the evaluation of porosity in a conventional concrete with glass fiber, were carried out on the basis of a design by the ACI method and with a resistance of 21MPa. The samples used of the coarse aggregates came from the quarry COPETO.C. LTDA located in the province of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas. From the results obtained, it has been determined the influence of coarse aggregates on the percentage of effective capillary porosity valúes, of 1/2" and 3/4" have less than 10%, within the mixing designs when it is replaced up to 3% in the fine aggregate. The decrease of the porosity in the mixtures was based on the decrease in the a/c ratio with the addition of glass fiber; the greater the addition of glass fiber, the lower the settling/fluidity of the concrete. Therefore, the decrease of porosity with the addition of glass fiber improves the redistribution of micro-cracks with the use of this material.

Resumen
The present investigation was developed with the purpose of characterizing the sea sands of the beaches located in the coastal profile of the province of Manabí, to determine if it is feasible to combine it with sub-base type granular material, fulfilling the specification of INEN standards for civil works projects. The sea sand studied underwent granulometry, natural humidity and specific gravity tests to later combine it granulometrically with the sub-base type granular material from a quarry located in the canton of Montecristi. The dosage to stabilize the sub-base was developed using 10% sea sand from Puerto Cayo adding 3, 4 and 5% Holcim Base Vial Type MH cement. To analyze the mechanical behavior of this type of mixtures, Modified Proctor and CBR (California Bearing Ratio) tests were carried out, which allowed us to show favorable results regarding the resistant capacity of the sub-base type granular material, since by adding 10% of sea sand from Puerto Cayo and 5% MH type cement, the CBR of the quarry granular material, significantly increased reaching values from 33.2% to 150%.

Resumen
Introduction. CNC technology or CNC machining did not emerge overnight, but is the product of a process of improvements and inventiveness in existing machine tools at the time. However, in order to understand more clearly the evolutionary process of this technology (CNC), it is imperative to know not only the characteristics of these machine tools, but also their operation and improvements over time. Objective. Analyze the evolution and usefulness of CNC machining in industrial design. Methodology. The methodology used in this work is of a bibliographical nature with a type of documentary research. The development of the investigation is based on the search for information with the purpose of finding some procedure or the answers to any situation or problem raised. The research has a development scheme, so the documentation was found on various websites through the Google Scholar digital search engine. For this purpose, key words or sentences were used such as: Lathe, CNC machining, Milling machine, industrial design. Results.1- Describe important concepts for this work such as: Lathe and Mill. 2-Describe CNC machining in industrial design. 3-Compare the functions of manual machining with CNC machining in industrial design. 4-List the advantages and disadvantages of CNC machining. 5-Demonstrate the usefulness or importance of CNC machining in industrial design. Conclution. CNC machining is nothing more than the automation of machine tools (lathe, milling machine, grinding machine, etc.), which performs different and complex machining operations using computer numerical control (CNC). CNC machining is more efficient and effective than conventional machining, since it allows machining a greater number of parts in the shortest possible time, which contributes to increasing production in industrial design.

Resumen
Coarse aggregates have their own characteristics and the behavior of the concrete depends on this, both in terms of its physical-mechanical properties and its performance in the fresh or hardened state. In order to determine the characteristics of the coarse aggregate, this research aims to analyze the influence of the amount of water added to the concrete, according to the established standard; and in turn, how this influences the porosity of the concrete of 210 Kg/cm2. Therefore, to achieve this objective, a quantitative methodology based on an experimental design was used. The coarse aggregate samples that came from two quarries located in different provinces, one in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas and the other in Manabí. The tests were carried out in accordance with ASTM C39 on a total of 48 specimens. The method developed by Göran Fagerlund was used to determine the capillary porosity of the concrete. The results showed that the coarse aggregates from both quarries reached values below 10%, within the percentage of effective capillary porosity. Since the size of the coarse aggregate is one of the most important characteristics in the composition of the concrete. It is therefore important that the concrete has a good durability based on the effective capillary porosity.

Resumen
The investigative work carried out consisted in the evaluation of type (M) structural mortars, according to the standard (ASTM C109/C109 M-99), depending on the compressive strength. The tests were carried out with specific materials such as: Type I Portland cement, diatomite Pozzolana, crushed sand from (Megarok S.A.) and water. The mixtures were worked at the same fluidity level, obtaining homogeneous mixtures with great workability. The molding of the specimens was carried out in cubes of 50mm on each side. Diatomite was added proportionally at 15% and 20% as a replacement for Portland cement. Breakage tests were performed at 7, 14, 28, and 91 days of curing, which were successful, creating a type M (structural) mortar. The diatomite was very efficient thanks to its high amorphous silica content, which reacts with the hydration products of the cement ( and the alkalis and among others) to produce a structural mortar in order to obtain the required level of resistance and improve its durability.

Resumen
Traffic is the result of a growing and constant rate of vehicle fleet within a city, and in the case of Portoviejo it is becoming a latent problem. The purpose of this research is to focus efforts on a vehicular arrangement towards streets with little traffic, but easy to navigate. To collect the necessary information on the traffic of the streets under study, a vehicle count that lasted 3 months was used as the main tool, in addition to this processing, office tools such as Excel were used to process them and provide their respective interpretation. As results, it has been obtained that the main road arteries such as Av. Ramos Duarte suffer from high traffic congestion due to the large number of vehicles that use it as an access point to the city center. Sucre street is a mobility alternative to order part of the traffic that is moving towards sectors such as the urban center or with high bureaucratic movement.

Resumen
Cement is one of the most used products for construction since ancient times, the need of the human being to be able to have refuge in safe places that resist the ravages of nature, this has created the need to look for new and better materials that separate To provide resistance and durability are low in cost and friendly to the environment, this is the case of Portland cement, which has certain resistance characteristics but tempered glass is added. The objective of this research is to determine how precisely the glass element influences the incorporation into the Portland cement mixture. The methodology used is the bibliographic documentary type, which was carried out through the systematic review of documents, scientific publications, theses, books, among other relevant documents on the subject. In conclusion, it can be said that the incorporation of elements such as glass in concrete mixtures whose main component is Portland cement is successful, since the high resistance of concrete has been observed and in the same way it contributes to the recycling of glass.

Resumen
In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the number of digital nomads around the world. Digital nomads are people who work remotely using digital and technological tools to carry out their work from anywhere in the world. Often these workers do not have a fixed location and move from one place to another according to their personal and professional needs. Remote work and the digital nomad lifestyle have become increasingly popular due to the increasing accessibility and quality of information and communication technologies. People can work from anywhere in the world as long as they have an internet connection and a device to work on. Additionally, the rise of social media and digital communities has also allowed digital nomads to connect and collaborate with other remote workers from around the world. Particularly countries like the United States and Spain are known to have a large number of digital nomads due to the increasing availability of remote work options and the quality of life they offer. In Spain, for example, coastal cities like Valencia and Barcelona have attracted large numbers of digital nomads due to their climate, culture, and relaxed work environment. In Latin America, digital nomads are beginning to attract the attention of local governments and entrepreneurs. Many countries in the region are trying to attract digital nomads with tax breaks, special visa programs, and co-working spaces.

Resumen
In order to determine if the use of masonry demolition waste is feasible, with the combination of materials from one of the quarries in the town of Portoviejo, we proceeded to work with the following methodology. The methodology is mixed, so it is descriptive and experimental, which is why it seeks to statistically analyze and specify the physical characteristics of substitution materials for fine aggregate, according to the Ecuadorian INEN construction standard. For the execution of the work, 4 concrete mix designs were made, by volumetric method, substituting the fine aggregate for material from the demolition of masonry by 5, 10 and 15%, once the dosages were finished, the test of compressive strength and electrical resistivity thus obtaining comparable results with the designs made.
