The present research aims to propose the use of a quality management system based on the ISO 9001: 2015 standard as a tool that contributes to academic improvement at the Rubén Darío school, which allowed the establishment of specific objectives, themselves which were achieved through field research through the application of techniques such as surveys of teachers, administrative staff and authority, The results of the field research were subjected to analysis and theoretical debate under the guidelines and guidelines of the ISO 9001 standard -2015, after which the respective conclusions were established. On the other hand, the results validation process was carried out, reaching the conclusion that In the Rubén Darío Educational Unit, some deficiencies were found, such as, for example, it does not have a quality policy, nor quality objectives, a organization chart and there is also reprocessing that affects the administrative area, a vision and mission not very clear in addition to the ignorance of these in the staff. Through the use of research techniques, a survey was carried out on the institution's human talent, in order to carry out a study regarding the importance of the implementation of a quality management system. The conclusion guided the determination of recommendations such as executing the proposal for the design of a Quality Management System based on the ISO 9001: 2015 Standard in the Rubén Darío Educational Unit, to optimize its processes, allowing to provide an efficient service with quality and warmth to the community. The consequences derived from the impact of the Coronavirus have generated in the population a very different life situation, which has represented assuming new habits of life and work, with a particular influence on the relatives of the people who have contracted the COVID 19 disease. The measures of isolation and limitation of physical contact have required the confinement of many people at home for a long time, representing a series of stressful situations that can threaten the mental health of people and affect the resilient capacity of society. The object of the investigation is the relatives of the people who have contracted the COVID 19 disease in the urban parish Aníbal San Andrés of the Montecristi canton. The objective of the work consists of discovering novel situations, with an important meaning for the resilience of family members from the situation created by the impact of COVID 19. The work has a quantitative-qualitative approach, it is descriptive-correlational, to which was used from the inductive-deductive method as a logical reasoning strategy, starting from using premises to reach a specific general conclusion about the subject under study, using general principles to reach specific conclusions. The Beck anxiety inventory survey and the SV-RES Resilience Scale were applied, with this it was possible to measure the psychosocial impact of the relatives of people contaminated with the virus and the relationship between anxiety and resilience. Quality in higher education plays an essential role, since it is about ensuring that students have a preparation that responds to their expectations, having a positive impact on the academic process and on their subsequent job placement, therefore the Central Government, through the competent bodies, it has established the strategies and standards for the Assurance of Educational Quality. The objective of this work was focused on evaluating the perception of the quality of the Leveling process of the Center for Promotion and Support for Income (CPAI) of the Business Administration career of the Technical University of Manabí. For this purpose, the SERVQUAL model was applied, specifically difference 5 referring to student satisfaction and difference 1 from an approach to knowledge of student perceptions by managers. A mode of 4 was obtained in general, which establishes adequate student satisfaction. The present study was carried out with the objective of identifying the resilient strategies developed by drug-dependent patients of the rehabilitation program of the Nueva Esperanza rehabilitation center in Bolívar - Manabí canton. A mixed approach (quantitative-qualitative) of a descriptive type and a method of analysis and synthesis was used. Where a documentary analysis of the programs was carried out, in-depth interviews in order to identify resilient intervention techniques, then non-participant observation was carried out in order to identify the activities that promote resilience in patients. The SV-RES psychometric test was also applied. To determine the level and verify the development of resilient capacities. The research concludes that there are resilient strategies when executing different therapies such as group, individual, spiritual and occupational therapies as well as psychological intervention techniques that promote the development of resilience, however, the results obtained do not show an increase in resilience due to the lack of multidisciplinary personnel, intervention techniques and the infrequency in which it is carried out. The support network that perpetuates transgender women are social organizations that seek positive action mechanisms to generate a safe space in the face of the different contexts of discrimination that each of them have. The objective of the research is to determine the levels of resilience developed by transgender women who receive assistance from the support networks of the Bolívar canton, Manabí, Ecuador. The investigative approach is mixed, with a qualitative and quantitative structure, the situational state is described, through inductive and deductive techniques, it starts for the application of the SVRS-RES Test, and through the use of the INEC survey instrument, it is allows to recognize the current states of the investigated population. The results indicate that the support networks to which transgender women belong, carry out support campaigns on HIV issues, execute projects that are born from the same key population, and in turn use meetings with the members of these representations of the civil society, to generate safe spaces within their own environments. The levels of resilience that occur within these support networks are the strategies that provide for overcoming discrimination problems, little access to employment and concentration to eradicate gender violence that is conceived from the political, social and social construction cultural. The goal of this article was to establish the processes of quality management as a strategy to improve administrative processes at Distribuidora Telmo Macías Mora "T.M.M." In order to achieve the objective of the article (exploratory and descriptive), a broad review of various scientific, theoretical and statistical documentary sources has been made. The following research tries to determine the levels of anxiety and resilience, as well as the relationship between these variables, in people who were diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus in the city of Manta, Manabí province, which is within the provinces with more cases of infection in Ecuador. The existing relationship between the level of resilience and anxiety is studied, associated with the condition of going through the disease caused by the virus. Resilience is a protective factor for anxiety during stressful situations, important for the overall well-being of people. The study of these categories in the described circumstances of the coronavirus pandemic is relevant, as it provides valuable information about the psychological effects of COVID-19. The population is made up of a group of people who live in the city of Manta, diagnosed with COVID-19 during the 2020 pandemic, between the months of June and July. An open interview was conducted to determine the levels of expression of the variables studied. The Hamilton Anxiety Test and the SV-RES Resilience Test were applied. As a result, it is concluded that there is a relationship between these variables. The results obtained indicate that people maintain a level of resilience as a high tendency and anxiety is expressed at low levels. Regarding the relationship between them, it is appreciated that the levels of resilience found allow a better control of anxiety. Keywords: Resilience, mental health, pandemic.

Using diminutives in formal and informal language in Ecuador is very popular and therefore also in areas such as the health area. This paper aims to identify the main diminutives used by medical staff with adult patients and their main reasons to use them. Also, to know patient opinion about the use of diminutives at medical appointments. Through an online survey, information is obtained to verify the proposed hypothesis. Results allow to know: the most used diminutive according to the medical Staff is "un ratito" and the diminutive most listened by patients is part of the phrase "deme su bracito". The main reasons why medical staff use diminutives at medical appointments are: 1. Give trust to their patients, 2. as a polite set expression.  Relate to this topic patient opinion is divided: chiefly, there are those who actually when they listen diminutives feel in a confidence-building environment, others who say that they do not care about listening diminutives and finally, those who prefer that medical staff does not use diminutives with them.
