Resumen
This article analizes the poetic rewriting about the Silabario Hispanoamericano of the teacher Adrián Dufflocq, through three chilean poets: Rodrigo Ortega, Marcela Parra and Malú Urriola, who analize the ideological construction that holds on the hegemonic culture of chilean Republic and the relation between pedagogy and poetry, like an space of historic and political construction, modifying historic paradigms of the Chilean childhood that have been stablished, especially, by school and state institution of the country.

Resumen
This essay aims to contribute to the discussions about knowledge and power in the New World through the study of one of the most famous works in colonial chilean historiography: Alonso de Ovalle´s Histórica relación del Reino de Chile (1646). I argue that knowledge about Chile is produced within two principles: the text´s locus of enunciation and the use of sources of information or of authority. This issue leads into questioning the author´s problematic status as he speaks about his homeland from Europe and for Europeans, presenting his familiar background as if unknown.

Resumen
In this paper we analyze the different ways of insertion of Chilean plastic artists in Parisian modernity at the beginning of the 20th century; then, we stop in the case of Sara Malvar, an artist who is linked to the central actors of the vanguard in France and who redefines her position within her marriage. Finally, we analyze the activity of Malvar in Paris and his contribution in two painted poems by Huidobro.

This research is about the adquisition of the liquid codas /l/ and /ɾ/ in medial position within a sample of 161 participants, who are speakers of Chilean Spanish. Those were divided in four age groups from 2,0 up to 3,11 years old. The coda production was analysed as correct, substituted and ommitted. It has been observed that the output improves in higher ages, as well as dimishes the omission at the same time. The substitution is maintained relatively stable in all the age groups we have analysed, while at the same time we observe substitution patterns related to the place articulation and the sonority hierarchy.

Resumen
In recent years some legal changes that seek a new deal towards LGBTI have occurred . However, the discussion on gay or same-sex marriage is stagnated in both the legislative debate and public opinion. From the perspective of the Appraisal theory (Martin and White, 2005), the aim is to identify the ideological stances of those in favor and those against this law through the analysis of two letters to the editor. Some of the main results include a) the notorious contrast of monoglossic and heteroglossic resources used in the letters: one referring to received truths and the other resorting to historical evidence; b) the recurrence of empowering and disempowering strategies to define institutional conflicts; and c) strategies that legitimize their own stances.

Resumen
We analyzed reports in which it was recommended to reject the publication of manuscripts sent to a Chilean humanities journal. We sought to establish whether these reports varied according to two attributes of the referees: the number of publications and the type of participation in the journal. The results show that, regardless of their status, when rejecting an article of scientific research, the referees make evaluations centered on the article as a unit. Descriptions, descriptions of errors, and descriptions of what is missing are the most frequent communicative purposes in this genre.

Resumen
In this paper the processes of appropriation and production that are articulated in Gabriela Misttral´s travel chronicles, which were written in her multiple stays in Italy, are analyzed.. The discursive and thematic mechanisms that contribute to appropriation are studied, which rework and assign new meanings to the spaces visited. These. Thus the trip will be understood not as a physical displacement, but rather as the internalization of the experience through the creative formulation of language. The analysis of the spatial appropriation will show the problem of the communicability of the experience, which will lead to the conclusion that in travel chronicles a mystical poetic of travel is configured.

Resumen
The present paper explores three topics that are complementary to the study of demonyms we have carried out in two previous essays (Kordic Riquelme and Chávez Fajardo: 2017; and Chávez Fajardo and Kordic Riquelme (in press). First, we introduce a brief historiography of demonyms. Second, we make reference to the moniker, a separate lexical component that is absolutely independent from the ethnic and post-toponymical demonym. Finally, we point out the relevance of demonyms within the standardizing processes, an aspect which in fact has been poorly addressed, but it essential during the first stages of linguistic regulation.
