Resumen
This paper explores the origins, reference points and reconceptualization of the mediation and contemporary art practices, as actions located in the context where they serve. Situated mediation is understood as the one which carries out projects apart from individual, capitalist and neoliberal interests; the one which escapes from banal educational practices and the kind of mediation which considers the context (people and territory) where it takes place. In order to argue this mediation based on contemporary art practices, we revisit the foundation of activism and its connection as a political act with the participatory processes and the human rights in relation to the arts. Finally, we make a selection of references and international art projects which fit in this argument, but from a de-colonial, anti-racist and activist positioning inherent to the situated mediation considered.

Resumen
This study aimed to analyse the influence of shared music practice in primary school children's perception of psychological wellbeing. To achieve this, we studied the implementation of a cooperative socio-educational music programme developed in a Spanish city's primary school. A deductive approach to thematic analysis based on Seligman's PERMA model was used after conducting focus groups with 65 children and in-depth semi-structured interviews with six teachers. The findings showed connections with the five elements of the PERMA model –positive emotions, engagement, positive relationships, meaning and achievements– and, accordingly, suggest the positive impact of group music-making in school programmes to enhance psychological wellbeing.

Resumen
Usually Artistic Education and Heritage Education have been seen as complementary disciplines, but, in fact, have the same root: the sensitive knowledge. Since Postmodernism learning is related to emotions and multi-sensorial approach, like an experience to know how and know being. Thus, interrelation between both disciplines talks about an education more connected to changeable or volatile Contemporariness. In this essay, we present the most important characteristics that Artistic Education and Heritage share and they mean a starting point to create pedagogical spaces where creativity, expression and divergent thinking would be main point. Specifically, teach our eyes, our sensitivity, support differences, know ourselves and build community. In summary, Artistic Education and Heritage Education are spaces where we could reclaim formative present, pleasure for learning and another way to be in the world, more creative and more flexible.

Resumen
In 2016, a mediation proposal was developed with older people in MediaLab Prado, whose objectives were to cover certain deficiencies within the use of ICT and digital literacy for everyday life. As a methodological proposal within the project, the use of classical games (cards, riddles, etc.) to generate a metacognitive learning process in an intergenerational context. Analyzing the results obtained, we observe the improvement that this gamified pedagogical approach supposes within the mediation proposal and its effectiveness as a project pedagogical strategy to generate new guides and alternative means for the use of the arts with transversal purposes. Likewise, the results of the project justify the use of cultural contexts and the use of culture and the arts as a fundamentally ethical and socializing entity.

Resumen
Uncertainty is part of the life of the human being and it is present in every act that is carried out. Since its origins, humanity is faced with dilemmas and destinies that the Oracles will try to answer. Delphi's oracle did not abandon us and Pythia today speaks to us from science and everyday technology trying to respond to the uncertainty that will never leave the person, where the scissors of Atropos -the inevitable-, do not have enough edge to cut the thread.

Resumen
The article discusses an experience of cultural mediation, and its relations with artistic and professional education in the visual and performing arts, from the construction of a process of intervention, developed collectively by students of contemporary dance training, at university level. Modelo Vacío is the name that incites the action, and is centred on a site-specific location in the city of Montevideo, with the intention that the collective practices activate the borders of the artistic and the social, and the subjective engagement of each participant.

Resumen
In the following pages, I will discuss, in the first place, the generalised questioning of humanistic disciplines within capitalist societies and the resulting crisis of legitimisation that compulsory music education continuously faces. Taking as a starting point a Critical Pedagogy-type of positioning, I will propose a form of music education that looks for empowering the student and through this, the transformation of their community. To conclude, I will propose a rethinking of the teaching of this discipline in schools through a reformulation of the curriculum objectives, methodologies and contents.
