Resumen
The study presented in this article focuses on the disconnect that the authoresses glimpse between educational practices assumed in the context of development, primarily relative to the family and school-age child, and the needs of different childhoods and adolescences with a sense of extreme satisfaction that the neoliberal Spanish society models. It is understood that this disconnect becomes integrated in the baggage of situations that, in a joint and interrelated way, accentuates intergenerational misunderstanding within the setting of the family and the school-age child as well as hinders the emotional organization to be able to face one’s own digest of learning inherent in the stages of childhood and youth (with the possibility of setting up situations of «school failure»).

Resumen
Much has been written and yet much is still to be written on cooperative learning (CL). This article, rather than explaining what CL is, tries to provide a set of elements that, by the light of experience rather than of the abundant existing literature. These elements can provide a practical approach to applying this learning strategy. Working with small teams of students contributes to unquestionable advantages to teaching using this technique. This active learning technique allows the student not only to have the opportunity to reach significant learning levels but it also values his/her ability to express both orally and in written form, to structure and defend his/her ideas, to clarify them, etc. After years working with CL evidence of its virtues can be provided as well as indicating its difficulties and the circumstances involved. Light can be shed on the educational aspects of much interest for educators and for those curious on CL or those wishing to incorporate it to their teaching.

Resumen
Changes in the organizational models and changes of management styles, with the spread of processes of outsourcing and differentiated treatment among workers, have sharpened the segmentation of the labour markets. The ‘Survey of Quality of Working Life’, of the Ministry of Labour, allow us to recognize this fragmentation in employment conditions. Labour markets segmentation acquires increased consistency, first, since it discriminates with regards to workers’ personal, family and social situations; and second, since it gives rise to different kind of interests, values, expectations, attitudes and behaviours between labour segments. Labour market segmentation helps us to explain why the individual relationships and especially the microcorporative action acquire a greater space in the social employment relations. Trade unions must confront with this panorama; but they can also find these trends in their inside.

Resumen
This essay shows the result of a study in Local Policing and training academies of several towns of the autonomous region of Madrid (Spain). By the testimony of policewomen and female candidates to be police, and the monitoring and analysis of the selective process and recruitment, this research aims for identifying factors that have an effect on the low participation and recruitment of women in this Force. Although policies have managed to implant the equity principle in opportunities and conditions at work, there are still factors that keep a pattern of occupational segregation for the selection and recruitment processes. By this reason the “male” image of the domain is perpetuated.
