The Human Development Report for Mercosur - RDH-M (2009-2010) systematized a set of Qualitative and Quantitative Data on how young people perceive the educational and work world. The subjective elements - extracted from 295 interviews with youth leaders from the four countries that effectively comprised Mercosur in 2010 - make it possible to understand their perceptions of the world, their motivations, and perspectives. This is documentary research that gives centrality to the way in which RDH-M producers highlight young people's view of becoming, that is, their fears and hopes. The RDH-M writers demonstrate that positive expectations of job performance through increasing schooling are much more present among the wealthier youth. The poorest have many projects, expectations and hopes, however, seem to doubt, more intensely, whether the fulfillment of school cycles will, in fact, guarantee success in the world of work.

INTRODUCTION: Infection with Varicella zoster virus causes primary varicella infection. It can reactivate later in life and causes herpes zoster, which mainly occurs in the elderly.This article aimed to review aspects related to the prevention of herpes zoster in older people. METHODS:The study was carried out through a literature review using the keywords “Herpes Zoster”, “Elderly”, “Vaccine” in the MEDLINE, SciELO, BIREME databases, selecting articles published in Portuguese and English for the period from March 2022 to November 2022. Two vaccines are marketed to prevent herpes zoster: the live zoster vaccine and the non- live, recombinant zoster vaccine. Greater efficacy, slower decline in immunity and the possibility of use in immunocompromised patients justify the superiority of non-lived over lived vaccine. CONCLUSION: Herpes Zoster impacts quality of life, causing a reduction in activities of daily living and may lead chronic pain. It is necessary to implement public health policies to ensure the access of older people to the available vaccines and reduce the herpes zoster burden of illness.

The general objective of this study is to understand the importance of using music as a teaching and learning tool in early childhood education. The methodology used is of a qualitative nature, based on bibliographic research and field research, serving as a support to reflect on the ability to think, create, produce and provide pleasant moments and learning in the school environment. It appears that music is an interdisciplinary learning instrument, with which various activities can be worked, in addition to having the potential to develop different skills in children. The dialogues are from professionals both in the pedagogical and music areas, which add up to a significant, contributing and precise study in the scope of research and for the knowledge of the reader of this article.  

Leprosy is a silent, chronic disease caused by the agent Mycobacterium leprae. Causes skin damage, loss of sensation, neural impairment and physical disabilities. These are items responsible for the taboo and prejudice surrounding the disease. The aim of this study was analysis of the active search in contact exams of leprosy cases in the city of Almenara/MG in the years 2017-2021, based on the analysis of information reported in the Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN), provided by the Municipal Department of Health. A descriptive-exploratory bibliographic review of a qualitative-quantitative nature was used as an investigative method to obtain pertinent and coherent information for the theoretical foundation of the problem. Results: The data analyzed in the municipality of Almenara – MG and in the district of Pedra Grande – MG are worrying, as they show that the multibacillary operational classification was the most prevalent. It was evidenced that there is a predominance of male cases with leprosy. There was an increase in cases of recurrence, where the main cause is MDT treatment done inappropriately or incorrectly. The average number of contacts for 2017-2021 data is 3-4 people per notified patient. Leprosy is a public health problem in Brazil; thus, it is necessary to emphasize the importance of the pharmacist for early diagnosis. In view of this study and the studies presented in this work, it is concluded that active search is a primordial method for the early detection of the disease. The sooner the disease is diagnosed, the less chance it will cause physical disability and nerve damage. For this, it is necessary to be more efficient in the search for intra-household and social contacts for the patient. As well as day care centers and schools, to avoid active cases of the disease in the age group of 00-15 years.

Covid-19 is a disease that has spread worldwide, bringing drastic consequences to the health of the population. Social distancing has been established by the World Health Organization as a measure to prevent the spread of the virus. The objective of the present study was to identify the factors that led to the development of anxiety and depression in the population, with a focus on the comparison of drugs from the anxiolytic class and between 2018 and 2022 (partial), in the basic pharmacy of the municipality of Joaíma-MG. The Covid-19 pandemic caused socioeconomic and emotional damage to significant portions of society. Regarding drug therapy of psychotropic drugs, those that gained a lot of prominence were benzodiazepines and antidepressants of various classes. These drugs can cause dependence and severe effects, therefore, medical monitoring is necessary to handle pharmacotherapy care. The study proposes a combination of the increase in the dispensing of these drugs in this pharmacy, with the effects of the individual's personal and community life, emphasizing the importance of alternative routes for well-being purposes, with the fundamental role of the pharmacist in guiding and advising on the use of these drugs. psychotropic medications.

Changes in the corporate world require constant improvement of organizations, and family businesses would not be an exception, starting with the governance model, which directly influences business succession. In view of this, the present study analyzed how corporate governance contributes to the family succession process in health care companies, specifically in medical clinics, identifying any problems that may hinder the succession process and demonstrating how governance can facilitate this process. The methodology of the study was based on a bibliographic review of qualitative and exploratory character, seeking theoretical references of renowned authors of the area, through articles, books and journals specialized in the subject. The results showed that governance is a tool that allows greater transparency and credibility in the work environment and that helps the management of family businesses as well, and can be a tool that collaborates in the transparent planning of family succession in medical clinics. Obviously, governance alone will not be enough to ensure a smooth succession, but it is already a pillar that brings more trust and credibility to decision-making.  

Industrial and technological advances have promoted countless benefits for society in the present century. These advances have resulted in environmental wear and tear and an increase in waste. Of these residues, RSS have been gaining prominence due to their great risk potential and the need for studies and research. Thus, the research aimed to characterize and describe the processes of production, storage, disposal and treatment of healthcare waste. At the end of the work, a practical study of the quanti-qualitative type was carried out in institutions dedicated to the health sectors in the city of Almenara - MG. Health service waste presents a high degree of complexity, as it is characterized by being waste that contains infectious potential, which can cause accidents to both human health and the environment. With the research carried out in health institutions in the city of Almenara-MG, a failure in the forms of storage, collection, treatment and disposal of this waste was detected. Failures in the health system of public and private companies were evidenced, which is a worrying factor for Public Agencies.

Abstract: This work aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of the recruitment and selection process through digital platforms. The world is going through processes of evolution, and the way of hiring and the process of recruiting and selecting people to occupy new positions in companies, also went through these evolutions. Becoming a management model with greater strategy and technology, enabling organizations to understand the importance of platforms as a tool that assists in the hiring process. Although many companies carry out face-to-face tests, interviews and CV evaluations, it  is   the  digital platforms that decide, facilitate and streamline these processes. Digital platforms are business models that work by connecting professionals and companies, allowing the discovery of hitherto unknown talent. It is also perceived that digital platforms are seen as a fundamental complement in the way of selecting, identifying, and locating the most suitable candidate for the most diverse vacancies offered, for this reason it is considered a valuable tool for organizations, minimizing time and maximizing gains in all aspects that make up the stages of the process. As for the methodology, the bibliographical research through books and articles by specialists in the subject addressed herein stands out.

Entrepreneurship is the process of creating, developing and managing a business, taking financial and personal risks. It can be classified into two main types: entrepreneurship by necessity and entrepreneurship by opportunity. The high rate of new entrepreneurs that emerge each year has driven several studies on this topic. Thus, this study aimed to point out the factors that act as incentives to undertake and the relationship of entrepreneurship by opportunity or necessity. For that, the following problem was outlined: What are the motivations for entrepreneurship? What is necessity and opportunity entrepreneurship? A systematic literature review was carried out to promote a basic, exploratory and qualitative study based on scientific articles and other scientific-academic productions in the database of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), in the period of 2012 to 2022. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 10 publications were selected. It was observed that, in recent years, there are still few publications involving the subject. The results indicate that the reasons for undertaking go beyond the binary logic of opportunity versus need, including: opportunity, personal achievements, job dissatisfaction, lack of opportunity in the job market, family and external influence. Thus, both need-based motivation and opportunity-driven motivation can lead to successful entrepreneurship, as long as you are prepared to do so.

The inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market is seen by many companies as just a legal obligation, after the publication of Law nº 8.213/91, also known as the Law of Quotas, which determines that people with disabilities occupy from 2% to 5% of the workforce of companies with 100 employees or more. Thus, this article proposes to report the difficulties for the inclusion of PWD in companies, identify needs for adaptations to welcome these people and also identify the turnover of PWDs. As a methodology, qualitative research was used and the method used in the analysis of the results was a bibliographical and exploratory research, to identify answers for such objectives. It is concluded that, with the inclusion of people with disabilities, companies do have a financial and cultural investment, but they can also have a positive return, mainly for society and for the PCD itself, which goes from being dependent on a benefit to being a provider of their own sustenance. At the end of the day, if well received, PWD have real possibilities of productivity, just like any other employee without a disability.
