Resumen
Purpose: To analyze the development of scientific information produced worldwide on the genus Ambystoma and identify existing trends and knowledge gaps.
Methodological design: We analyzed publications registered in the Scopus database containing the word “Ambystoma” in the title. The results were systematized using the Excel ® program to exclude non-scientific records and categorized by subject area, species, authorship, and institutional affiliation. VOSviewer software was used to visualize collaboration networks between authors.
Results: The analysis identified Ambystoma mexicanum (axolotl) as the most studied species, mainly due to its utility as a model organism. Most research originated from North America, particularly the United States, with limited international collaboration. Studies focused on areas such as genetics, ecology, and morphophysiology.
Research limitations: The study excluded publications that did not explicitly mention Ambystoma in the title, potentially overlooking broader research contributions related to the genus.
Findings: The findings highlight the need for increased international collaboration and a more comprehensive research focus on lesser-known Ambystoma species. Diversifying research efforts can enhance conservation strategies and improve scientific understanding of this genus.

Resumen
Purpose: To analyze the relationship between specific and economic factors affecting financial sustainability in the period prior to the COVID-19 crisis and during the COVID-19 period and how each of them contributes to the probability of increasing the return on assets (ROA) of the Popular Financial Societies (Sofipos) in Mexico.
Methodological design: A database of internal variables of the Popular Financial Societies in Mexico and five macroeconomic variables from various sources during the period 2014-2022 was formed. And using logit regressions, the impact of each of these variables on the probability of microfinance institutions maintaining their financial sustainability, measured by return on assets, was analyzed.
Results: In pre-COVID-19 three internal and four macroeconomic variables influence the probability of financial sustainability and during COVID-19 four internal and two macroeconomic variables.
Research limitations: High heterogeneity of the roa of the Sofipos, five had negative ROA and the other five positives.
Findings: Although ROA is dissimilar among Sofipos, some have large losses and others high profits, and even so, they continue to develop their activities, showing resilience even in crisis. In the two periods analyzed, the variables delinquency, capitalization index and remittances are statistically significant in explaining the financial sustainability of Sofipos.

Resumen
Purpose: This study evaluates the Anker methodology for calculating living wages and proposes an alternative approach based on mathematical optimization to determine food costs. The objective is to eliminate subjectivity in manual adjustments of the model diet and ensure that nutritional requirements are met at the lowest possible cost.
Methodological Design: A comparative analysis was conducted between the Anker methodology and a mathematical optimization model. Primary and secondary data were collected on food costs, nutritional composition, and consumption habits of automotive industry workers in the State of Mexico. A mathematical model was implemented using GAMS/CPLEX to minimize costs while adhering to macronutrient constraints established by the World Health Organization and Mexico’s Ministry of Health.
Results: A quantitative framework was developed using GAMS/CPLEX to minimize expenditures while complying with the macronutrient guidelines set forth by the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health of Mexico.
Research limitations: The estimation of a living wage is derived from an optimization framework tailored to a specific industrial domain; consequently, the findings may not be readily applicable to other sectors without appropriate methodological modifications.
Findings: The optimization model successfully decreases overall food expenditure without sacrificing nutritional integrity.

Resumen
Purpose: To comparatively interpret the content of beliefs expressed by women living in poverty and middle-class women regarding health, illness, care, and attention (SECA, for its acronym in Spanish).
Methodological design: Qualitative research based on a comparative case study with a biographical-narrative approach.
Results: They were organized into two categories from which subcategories were derived. The category of common beliefs about seca in both groups of women was integrated by the following subcategories: beliefs in Catholicism, healers, and the family itself. The category of discrepant beliefs was organized into the following: women living in poverty: beliefs in pagan characters, in evangelical churches, and in “witchcraft”. Middle-class women: beliefs in psychology, in “New Age” practices, in marijuana and psychotropic drugs.
Research limitations: Although the presence of the COVID-19 pandemic made it possible to gain in-depth knowledge of the phenomenon by including one additional case study of middle-class women, it simultaneously implied greater complexity to the process, prolonging the periods of research completion.
Findings: The social status of women influences the types of beliefs they hold about seca. These beliefs can change over time and vary depending on a woman's life stage. Plural, eclectic and contradictory contents co-exist in their beliefs. Similarities are noted between the New Age spirituality supported by middle-class women and the ideas of neo-Pentecostalism of women in poverty, linked to a neo-liberal epochal trait. Beliefs are linked to seca conceptions and knowledge about seca, with the predisposition to act on seca conceptions as a corollary.

Resumen
Purpose: This paper analyzes the relationship between psychosocial factors associated with working conditions, assessed based on working hours, and occupational stress, measured in terms of mental health.
Methodological design: The analysis is carried out using a linear regression analysis for Mexico at the state level for the year 2023, where the number of mental health consultations is used as the dependent variable, while there are four explanatory variables related to the percentage of the employed population with a certain length of the working day (less than 15 hours per week, from 15 to 34, from 35 to 48 and more than 48 hours per week), as well as a series of variables associated with working conditions (income and access to health services).
Results: There is a positive relationship between working hours and the number of mental health consultations, in other words, longer working hours lead to increased occupational stress.
Research limitations: The main issue has been how people's mental health status is measured, regardless of whether they are employed or not. That is, given the availability of information, identifying whether a mental health consultation was given to a person who is employed or unemployed.
Findings: Very long working hours are linked to poorer mental health. However, it has also been found that very short working hours are associated with worse mental health.
