La Universidad de Sancti Spíritus “José Martí Pérez”, con el objetivo de promover la labor científico-pedagógica tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, ha establecido la revista electrónica Pedagogía y Sociedad. Desde su fundación en 1997, esta publicación se ha caracterizado por su enfoque sin fines de lucro. En octubre de 1999, debido a consideraciones logísticas, la revista adoptó un nuevo formato; sin embargo, mantuvo sus rasgos editoriales en cuanto a perfil, extensión y temáticas.
El Comité Científico de la revista está conformado por investigadores externos de prestigio reconocido, quienes aseguran la calidad y el rigor académico de los artículos a través de un estricto proceso de revisión por pares en modalidad de doble ciego, además de incorporar prácticas de comunicación propias de la Ciencia Abierta.
Los contenidos de la revista "Pedagogía y Sociedad" desde el 2019 se publicaron bajo la licencia Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International hasta el año 2022. A partir de 2023, por decisión del Consejo Editorial, se adoptó la licencia Creative Commons Reconocimiento-NoComercial-SinObraDerivada 4.0 Internacional. Esta licencia permite copiar y distribuir las obras por cualquier medio, siempre que se reconozca a los autores, no se utilicen con fines comerciales y no se realicen modificaciones. Además, la revista no impone costos por el procesamiento de artículos, envío ni ningún otro cargo a los autores (sin APC).
The University of Sancti Spíritus "José Martí Pérez", has established the electronic journal Pedagogía y Sociedad, with the aim of promoting scientific-pedagogical work both nationally and internationally. Since its founding in 1997, this publication has been characterized by its non-profit approach. In October 1999, due to logistical considerations, the journal adopted a new format; however, it kept its editorial features in terms of profile, length and themes). The preferred language for publication is Spanish, although articles written entirely in English are accepted.
The journal’s Scientific Committee is made up of renowned external researchers, who ensure the quality and academic rigor of the articles through a strict peer review process in double-blind mode, in addition to incorporating Open Science-specific communication practices.
The contents of the journal "Pedagogía y Sociedad" since 2019 were published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International license until 2022. From 2023, by decision of the Editorial Board, the Creative Commons Recognition-NoComercial-SinObraDerivada 4.0 International license was adopted.
