La revista Anales de Historia del Arte es una publicación anual de carácter científico editada por el Departamento de Historia del Arte de la Facultad de Geografía e Historia. Su objetivo es publicar las investigaciones y reflexiones científicas más actuales en el terreno de la Historia del Arte y la Cultura Visual en un marco cronológico que abarca desde sus orígenes hasta la época presente, en un ámbito tanto nacional como internacional. La revista ofrece a las investigadoras e investigadores un espacio donde dar a conocer tanto su reflexión teórica como un soporte para enmarcar el arte en los retos sociales del mundo contemporáneo y donde plantear, desde una perspectiva académica, las controversias sobre los problemas de conservación del patrimonio, los debates de género, educación estética y ética así como las grandes cuestiones que el mundo globalizado ofrece en torno a las nuevas perspectivas transculturales e interdisciplinares en el ámbito histórico artístico.

Anales de Historia del Arte is an annual scientific publication, published by the Department of History of Art of the Faculty of Geography and History. Anales de Historia del Arte intends, to publish the most current national and international scientific research and thought in the field of History of Art and Visual Culture covering a timeline that ranges from its origins to the present. This new period will offer researchers with a channel where they can share their theoretical reflections, in addition to providing a framework for viewing art within the context of the social challenges of today's world and where they can discuss, from an academic perspective, the issues of heritage conservation, gender debates, education on aesthetics and ethics as well as the major questions that the globalised world poses related to the new transcultural and cross-functional standpoints in the field of art and history.
