Sociologies in Dialogue is a semiannual publication of the Brazilian Sociological Society focused on presenting unpublished articles in the field of Sociology. The main purpose of the journal is to disseminate works that contain empirical and/or theoretical analyses that are innovative and relevant to the international academic debate. In order to promote transnational dialogues, preference will be given to texts stemming from empirical research on fundamental topics and issues of Sociology, as well as contributions to the current debate on social theory. Since one of its aims is to establish a channel for dialogue between Brazilian and foreign authors, the texts will only be published in English.
