O objetivo da revista Journal of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering é publicar artigos de interesse permanente sobre pesquisas, avanços e projetos relacionados à ciência e tecnologia em Engenharia Mecânica, que abrangem as interfaces com outros ramos da engenharia, assim como Física e Matemática Aplicada.

The Journal of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering is edited and published quarterly by the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences (ABCM). The purpose of the Journal of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering is to publish articles of permanent interest dealing with research, development and design related to science and technology in Mechanical Engineering, encompassing interfaces with other branches of engineering, as well as with Physics and Applied Mathematics.
