This article addresses the problem of the decreased results in reading and socioemotional competence of high school students in Chile during the first two decades of the 21st century. Based on a documentary research work, two proposals for strategies are presented to develop both competences and contribute to improving these processes and results. The first strategy consists of a restructuring of the complementary reading and the second in a socio-emotional education program. One of the conclusions reached is that there is a wide variety of approaches and proposals for development strategies of the competencies that are investigated, which is an advantage both for implementing improvements and updates in pedagogical practices and for interdisciplinary development of both competences.

Throughout the criminal procedural practice, many are the positions that have been discussed with respect to the figure of the victim or plaintiff, his or her actions and powers within the criminal process. Notwithstanding the foregoing, there has been no major difficulty regarding the recognition of the rights of the victims, as well as the legal powers that may be exercised by the plaintiff once constituted as a plaintiff. The crux of the discussion has always been the procedural timing of the filing of the complaint and any powers conferred by Article 341 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. This brief, but necessary essay will deal with this particular subject, and is not intended to convince any participant in the process of our particular criterion, however, we do intend to bring to the debate our position, and hope that it can be analyzed, discussed, and why not, be used as a point of consensus for the unity of criteria throughout the national territory.

This investigation entitled principle of legality within criminal proceedings, seeks to assess whether the principle of legality within criminal proceedings is met in the Accusatory Penal System in Santiago de Veraguas, through a quantitative methodology where the survey instrument is applied. to 10 lawyers who have been part of the SPA in Santiago, from this it was concluded that in the first instance it is highlighted that the Hi hypothesis is corroborated, in which it is established that in the SPA of Santiago the principle of legality is complied with, that is to say that it ensures that sanctions are established based on what is imposed in Panamanian laws. The answers obtained from lawyers who have practiced their profession for years within the SPA confirm this point, since it was corroborated by a high percentage that all criminal proceedings are intervened in accordance with current laws and jurisdiction, therefore, it is concluded that the law prevails.

Systemic quality improvement is a necessity for all types of organizations. Ensuring quality management in higher education entities is essential to guarantee the training of competent and relevant professionals to respond to social needs. Quality in higher education is not limited to the training process, but encompasses the development of research actions to promote ideas that respond to social needs and the process of linking with society to encourage the contribution of universities to spread beyond their organizational limits and are inserted within societies. The review of the referential framework revealed that ensuring quality not only covers the key processes of training, research and outreach, but also demands leadership for quality, resource management and human resources, and documentary systems, among others. Based on this evidence, a procedure for quality improvement was designed and applied. The procedure was made up of four steps: characterization of the entity, quality diagnosis, design of improvement actions, and implementation and evaluation of actions. The application of the procedure made it possible to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each of the variables of the organization's quality system and, on this basis, design and apply improvement strategies. The application of improvement actions allowed significant improvements in the quality management system

Nowadays, a close theoretical-practical link in the professional pedagogical process of urban planning in the civil engineering career is becoming increasingly necessary to achieve a higher quality in the teaching of urban planning. From this perspective, urban projects should be developed from the universities, giving a greater response to the needs of the community and taking advantage of the business potential of each territory. This process must be developed in a harmonious way where it is possible to link theory with practice from the close relationship that must exist between university-business. For this, the principle of the professional pedagogical process is assumed, the school unit-productive entity - community, to achieve the formation of a competent and competitive professional. Therefore, the objective is to demonstrate the theoretical-practical link in the professional pedagogical process of teaching urban planning, based on the postulates of professional pedagogy and the experience of teaching urban planning at the University of Holguín.

Internationalization at the University of Holguín focuses on multiculturalism in training, research and knowledge, enhancing the capacities to develop these areas of Higher Education. In this sense, international cooperation represents an effective way in internationalization strategies. Through it, exchange opportunities are accessed to improve the quality of teaching and research, as well as for linking, articulation and institutional strengthening. The main objective of this work is to expose the experiences achieved in cooperation with Higher Education Institutions in Latin America and its importance to promote South-South cooperation. The results achieved account for the importance of establishing alliances in the region that promote the mutual development of Higher Education Institutions.

SMBs have been crucial to the Colombian economy thanks to their contribution to job creation and their positive impact on production. Thus, this research aimed to identify the key categories and variables that influence SMB internationalization, based on the Uppsala model and the theory of dynamic capabilities. The methodology followed was structural equation modeling. The sample included 100 SMBs of the textile-dressmaking sector, geographically located around the city of Medellín, Colombia, in Valle de Aburrá. To define the theoretical relationships, among categories, variables, and hypotheses, was created a path diagram as a strategy to better observe causal relationships between dependent and independent variables. To determine the instrument’s reliability, we analyzed the data using SPSS and then ran the structural equations on the LISREL software. The results allowed us to identify the most appropriate categories and variables of the Uppsala model and the dynamic capabilities to be included in the multivariate model and determine which of them have a greater influence on SMB internationalization. In conclusion, the main findings suggest that the categories that can significantly impact the SMB internationalization process are Information (seven variables), Resources (eight variables), and Dynamic Capabilities (eight variables).

In this article, the main objective was to determine the relationship between internal communication and organizational commitment in the collaborators of a mass consumption company in northeastern Peru; 135 employees of the company participated in this study, to whom a survey was applied as a data collection instrument, the Internal Communication and Organizational Commitment Scales were used, these instruments were subjected to Cronbach's Alpha reliability analysis, to both instruments were obtained as results coefficients that demonstrate reliability (0.906 and 0.769); It should be noted that this study used a methodology for basic research, with a quantitative approach, descriptive-correlational level, with a cross-sectional non-experimental research design. After processing the data, a p-value = 0.000 was determined, which indicates that there is a significant relationship between internal communication and organizational commitment; and a Rho Spearman = 0.586, which indicates that the relationship is considerable positive between the variables studied, in this study it was concluded that, when making efforts to improve internal communication, this action will proportionally influence organizational commitment of collaborators.
