The article revolves around the "normative" model of functionalism formulated by Günther Jakobs and the methodological bases that took his theory of punishment to the ambiguous concept of the so-called "criminal law of the enemy" as a theory of criminal exception.

The article shows the possibilities of textualized digital photography in different technological media as an innovative resource for evaluating the process of transitioning to university.The use of photovoice as a methodological tool is explained and analyzed from a participative research perspective as one which invites participants to take on an active role in reflecting on and taking part in their new academic situation. 142 first-year students doing degrees in Pre-school and Primary Education at the University of Vigo participated in the Project; this has led to the creation of a total of 560 textualized photographs related to the topic of the study.The results, based on a denotative analysis of the images and a connotative analysis of the texts produced by the students, identifies the spaces and situations in the university life of students which are essential, the role played by architectural elements and material resources, as well as the connection between their identity as students and the processes of university participation and management.The conclusions show the suitability of visual technological resources for evaluating educational transitions, the ability of photovoice to encourage participants to reflect and engage in critical thought, and the need to recognize the students’ voices and authority as soon as they enter university.

O presente estudo tem por objetivo uma revisão crítica da literatura especializada em direito comparado, destacando sua posição ora como ciência autônoma, ora como método de investigação do Direito, para então apresentar as consequências desta ou daquela conceituação. O artigo inicia com uma discussão preliminar terminológica afeta a discussão, depois passa a analisar a questão da existência ou não da autonomia científica do campo nos termos do senso comum da teoria do conhecimento – existência ou não de objeto, método e princípios próprios –, num terceiro momento revisa criticamente os principais princípios da comparação em direito e termina apresentando uma crítica sobre a tendência de estabelecimento de uma distinção forte centro/periferia na literatura hegemônica. Constatamos que subjazem aos discursos que enfatizam a necessidade de diálogos entre culturas uma compreensão de superioridade das culturas centrais, usualmente o local de fala dos principais autores do campo, principais entendido aqui como ou as literaturas fundantes do direito comparado ou as que tenham maior inserção nos seus contextos de origem e internacionalmente. Nesse contexto, nosso principal objetivo é recolocar, mediante análise crítica da tradição, a importância da comparação em direito para o ensino jurídico.

The current paper deals with the discussion about the calculation of valid mailbox patents for drugs and agricultural products in Brazil and the possibility of partial nullity, through the Brazilian judicial system with the consequent review of deadlines. The scope of the research was to create the ideal academic conditions for an effective analysis of the problem-theme. Methodologically, a case study was carried out with theoretical analysis regarding the approach; bibliographical and documentary, as to the form of data collection; investigative, as to the nature of the final product. The technique used to analyze the data collected was the deductive. The formatting of the text and references follow the standard established by the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT).

The objective of the study was to determine the degree of adherence to the prenatal care guide in the State Social Enterprises of the first level of complexity of the northern sub-region, department of Magdalena (Colombia), from January to March of 2016. A descriptive study was carried out with a retrospective documentary review, which was developed in the first quarter of 2016. The census of the population was represented by 1164 Prenatal Control clinical records in the hospitals affiliated to the State Social Enterprises; of which 396 were randomly chosen for the construction of the research. The results showed non-adherence to prenatal care guidelines, observing that only hospital two meets 100% OPTIMO with four 66.6%) of the six items evaluated (Classification of obstetric risk, maternal clinical history and maternal cardiology perinatal, provision of micronutrients and reference and counter-referral). It was found that it is necessary to improve the monitoring of the alterations detected during pregnancy, especially as regards the risk classification with the aim of decreasing the maternal mortality rate in the department of Magdalena.

The purpose of the study is to characterize the variables psychological burn out and self-esteem, as well as to explore their association and identify differences in a group of working women and not working women in social vulnerability of Ciudad Guzman, Jalisco. This is an exploratory, descriptive, correlational study. The dimension number four was used: a battery for the study of psychosocial work conditions, which assesses psychological burn out and three particular factors (cognitive-emotional response, behavioral response and physiological response) as well as the test of Cooper and Smith that evaluates self-esteem in three dimensions (itself, family and society), in 195 vulnerable women to whom the System of Integral Development of the Family (DIF) provides monthly support in the form of a pantry; 125 of them are housewives and 70 work outside their home. The results showed a tendency in the majority of the population to present optimal qualifications regarding the psychological burn out and the self-esteem. There was no significant difference in women working outside home and women who did not. Correlation between psychological burn out factor 1 and self-esteem was found. It remains an assumed approach for future studies that women with a high self-esteem will tend to exhibit less psychological burn out.

Amelogenesis Imperfecta (AI) is an alteration of the structure and appearance of dental enamel of genetic origin that can occur as an isolated or systemic defect. The Amelogenesis Imperfecta-Nefrocalcinosis Syndrome (OMIM # 204690), also known as Enamel-Renal Syndrome (ERS), is characterized by the presence of hypoplastic AI, gingival hyperplasia with ectopic mineralization, delayed tooth eruption and Nephrocalcinosis. This syndrome is associated with autosomal recessive mutations of the FAM20A gene. The aim of this review is to present the clinical and phenotypic characteristics of patients with the Amelogenesis Imperfecta-Nefrocalcinosis Syndrome. The material was obtained through an online search of MEDLINE database (PubMed), EBSCO-Host and Scopus (ScienceDirect). The results confirm the low frequency of clinical cases reported with Syndrome Amelogenesis Imperfecta-Nefrocalcinosis. The clinical and phenotypic characteristics were exposed in a clear, simple and precise way.  It is recommended to general dentists and pediatric dentists that, when diagnosing an AI, particularly of hypoplastic type, they perform a detailed personal-family medical history and contemplate an interconsultation with the nephrology service that allows to diagnose or monitor the patient's renal status in a preventive style.

This study analyzes the burden of care and its relation with morbidity perceived by caregivers of children with disabilities. In this quantitative, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional study, 56 caregivers of children, enrolled in an association in Cali, participated. The morbidity was measured with the Nordic questionnaire and the burden of care with the interview of Zarit. The results were presented using descriptive statistics and the Pearson correlation coefficient. Caregivers are mostly women, with an average age of 47 years old, with more than ten years performing these duties, and 21 as the average number of working hours per day. It prevailed lower back pain (50%) followed by shoulder pain (37.5%). The subjective excessive workload stood at the oldest caregivers with a performance in additional activities; this relation was statistically significant (p = 0.04). Caregivers who devote more time in other tasks showed more subjective excessive workload and musculoskeletal morbidity in the lower back and shoulders. Caregivers express feelings of burden and frustration towards caregiving.
