This study aims to analyze whether Social Identity Model for Collective Action (SIMCA) variables mediate the relationship between social media use and environmental collective action. The research used a multivariate correlation design, based on the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis, with a sample of 259 Peruvian university students. Group efficacy was found to mediate the relationship between the use of social media and habits against climate change. In addition, morale, anger, identification with activists, and group efficacy were found to partially mediate the relationship between social media use and online collective action against climate change. It is concluded that the connection between social media and collective action varies depending on the type of environmental collective action.

Resumen
The aim of this study is to determine the elements that form the transmedia storytelling universe of MasterChef in order to examine whether it has a structured model that can be applied to other cases. For this, the fundamental lines of debate on transmedia narrative universes are combined, establishing possible contributions to this field. An interdisciplinary analysis of MasterChef allows us to extrapolate a defined narrative model that combines interactive elements, fiction-reality fusion and the production of valuable content that extends the formula to new formats and other countries, maintaining audience interest despite the passage of time.

Resumen
This paper shows how ten television news programs use TikTok to disseminate science news, analyzing how the platform's own language is applied. Through the application of an evaluation checklist, the adaptation of television content is analyzed and the audiovisual opportunities offered by this social network are assessed. The results show that short videos produce greater interaction with users and that news channel profiles are not sufficiently taking advantage of the particular language that this social network allows.

Resumen
Given that electoral campaigns are spaces for citizenship construction and children are interested in politics, recognizing them as a political communication audience would promote their rights. With an approach from cultural studies and qualitative methodology, the relationship of knowledge and expectations with assessments and proposals is analyzed as part of their process of making sense about 2018 Mexican presidential campaign. There is evidence of self-recognition about the agency of girls and boys aged 10 to 12 years as political communication audience.

Resumen
This article addresses geek culture in Mexico and looks at how fandoms are integrated, as well as the processes through which role models are shaped out of the fantastic narratives at their center. Using ethnographic methods, it was observed that geek culture consists of fandoms grouped together around a variety of different fantastic narratives (comics, anime, videogames), and these in turn inspire specific behavioral models, according to their stage of life and specific needs at that time.

Resumen
The non-confirmation to vexed societal gender norms places trans identities in an abjected state. Media, mainly cinema, plays an indispensable role in shaping, shunning, and promulgating such ideologies. To understand this discourse, the Malayalam films Ardhanaari (2015) and Njan Marykutty (2018) are taken to examine the question of “abjection”, a concept by Kristeva, and “doing gender”, by West and Zimmerman. The study argues that the abjection trans identities face forces them to perform their gender in accordance with cisnormative femininity. The study further argues that trans identities should embrace abjection and employ it as a political tool to disrupt the established hegemonic traditional gender structure and its definitions.

Resumen
The article analyzes the historiographical production about the Cuban printed press of the 20th century. The documentary review confirmed a diversity of theoretical-methodological approaches. From volumes attached to anecdotes, one goes on to texts that try to explain the interdependencies between journalistic production and the context of the complex Cuban 20th century. The still incipient state of studies on the history of the press on the island is confirmed. This review makes it possible to publicize the most important works carried out in recent years and suggest topics that urgently need to be investigated.
