Resumen
In this article, we present a discussion about a research conducted by students of Degree in Mathematics, which focused the development of the visualization ability and the geometric thought in the carrying out activities that contemplated geometric constructions of three - dimensional surfaces using pencil, paper and computational tools. Activities were elaborated, applied and analyzed and these activities articulated theory and practice through activities of investigation, exploration, visualization and construction of surfaces. The articulation between Algebra and Geometry and the use of transversal sections, present in the activities, sought to make the students develop the ability to visualize three- dimensional objects. The use of educational informatics through Winplot allowed the exploration and formalization of different geometric concepts, from the rotation and translation of figures, which facilitated the geometric visualization with multiple representations. The qualitative analysis of the results confirmed that the students had a better capacity for generalization and that the activities showed a more progressive and innovative way of teaching Mathematics in situations of practice and experimentation of the content, aiming at understanding and interpretation of the topics that are studied.

Resumen
This article presents a discussion and analysis of evidences of Advanced Mathematical Thinking, mainly of the abstraction process according to Dreyfus (2002), in an teaching episode. Through a Teaching Experience, based on the Inquiry-Based Learning perspective, investigated the manifestation of this process by students entering a course in Chemistry Degree during the accomplishment of a task involving matrices, aiming to approach geometric transformations, in the discipline of Analytical Geometry and Linear Algebra. The results show that, from seven students who participated in this study, only two mobilized the generalization and the synthesis process, thus, manifesting the abstraction process.

Resumen
In this article we present the results of an investigation that had as purpose to analyze a hypothetical trajectory of learning, carried out with students of a Mathematics teaching course , to construct the function concept. For that, the theoretical assumptions of Duval's Semiotic Representation Registers were adopted. The qualitative research was attended by sixteen students participants in the Elementary Mathematics course of a public university, located in the South of Brasil. Data analysis, which was collected through the students' productions and of the researcher's field diary notes, was carried out based on the triple analysis suggested by Duval. The results point to the overcoming of several difficulties, and it is possible to affirm that there was a significant advance in the understanding of function concept, that is, a "progression in learning" of the students.

Resumen
This paper presents a qualitative research carried out with students of a Postgraduate Program in Teaching Science and Mathematics, which had the guiding question analyses how students of a postgraduate program in mathematics teaching can develop spatial representation skills. For this purpose, investigative activities were used in which the participants made their written records as well as some photographic records. For treatment of the results it was used the Discursive Textual Analysis and, as far as it was possible to perceive, the investigated ones were able to develop representations of objects from the solid composition of the kits provided by the researcher. As partial conclusions can be affirmed that it was possible to develop visualization and relations between volumes, especially the arrival of the Cavalieri Principle.

Resumen
Among contexts in which consumer ethics unfold, the family is a very relevant one because it holds a sizeable share of consumption decisions, and is intimately connected to the search and sustaining of a common life project. Based on interviews with 20 fathers cohabiting with their partners and children, we examine the role of the father in family consumption, including the progressive weakening of the breadwinner model in favor of more involved ways of male presence in the family. We explore whether fathers show any kind of ethical concern in their family consumption decisions and, if that is the case, whether those concerns are better understood through the lens of an ethics of care –as usually done in the case of mothers– or through the lens of virtue ethics –which is connected to consumers’ projects and their search for the good life.

Resumen
The common good approach states that collaborative work in companies allows the development of knowledge, skills, virtues and meaning, in addition to the production of goods and services to meet the needs and desires of society. On the other hand, benefit corporations are characterized by the combination of economic and social objectives. This article, based on a comparative theoretical analysis of an inductive nature, contrasts the characteristics of benefit corporations (within the framework of corporate law in the United States) with the approaches of the common good approach. It is concluded that there is a good theoretical foundation for this societal subtype in the common good approach.

Resumen
The present article aims to establish the current situation in relation to the knowledge of Spiritual Intelligence capacities and the practice needed to develop them by the people in charge to implement these practices on the Catalan organizations. The author develops the features and characteristics of Spiritual Intelligence that can be most useful in a corporation environment, those that can affect the implementation of a new type of business, fairer, more environmentally conscious and whose values are closer to citizen ethics.
There is strong pressure from today’s society for organizations to assume a series of values that range from the social to the environmental and from the ethical to the fair, which are intimately related to Spiritual Intelligence.

Resumen
In the reconstruction of Adam Smith’s philosophical system, his studies on language are a key piece in several senses: they establish the necessity as the base of the development of the human society; define the historical pattern that this development follows; identify the fundamental formula according to which social interactions take place; establish the passage from an isolated consciousness to a dialogical one; and evince the theatrical structure of social relations. All this allows us to develop an interpretation of his work not as a deterministic economic structure, but as a semiotic construction to which we could give multiple forms.

Resumen
Given the existing deficiencies in the today’s capitalist system to reduce social and human imbalances, in recent decades, both social and economy of communion entrepreneurship have emerged as new business models of high social innovation impact and humankind. However, knowledge of this type of enterprise, and the variables that can affect their activation and development is still low. One particular interest is to analyze the impact of sex on the process of starting-up these businesses, and whether being a woman acts as a trigger. Thus, by analyzing the characteristics of social and economy of communion entrepreneurship, as well as utilizing women entrepreneurship literature, we will show compatibilities between being a woman and this type of entrepreneurship, especially with regards to the necessary impetus to successfully address the different stages of the businesses creation process.
