Resumen
Introduction: The use of electronic applications (app) in medical education, has demonstrated to facilitate learning, as it allows immediate access to knowledge at any time and in any place.
Objective: Developed and assessed an app for the study of morphology and the biological cycle of the Toxoplasma gondii parasite, for the students of the Parasitology module of the academic subject Microbiology and Parasitology of the of the Faculty of Medicine, UNAM, in order to reinforce and include data of the toxoplasmosis disease that is one of the most complex parasitosis being studied in this module.
Method: The app was developed at the Departamento de Visualización y Realidad Virtual (DVRV), Dirección de Cómputo y Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación (DGTIC), UNAM. Its use was assessed through a user satisfaction survey that was applied to the module´s alumni using a criteria variable of satisfaction corresponding to the Satisfaction scale of the Spanish version of the Distance Education Learning Survey. The inner consistency for the tools was calculated with the Cronbach Alpha test.In order to identify the structure of the tool, the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) was used with a Varimax and Kaiser Normalization rotation.
Results: The results in the PCA showed an appropriate sample adequacy and pertinent elements in the analyzed tool. The inner consistency for the tool showed a standardized value of 0.87, which provides evidence to assure that the items measure the same construct related with the pattern of answers among themselves.
Conclusion: The app was welcome by students and served its purpose. The students' answers will allow us to improve the design of future apps to study medical parasitology.

Introduction: With advances in technology and the Internet of all things, are generates new perspectives in the training of doctors. For this reason is important of using the Learning & Knowledge Technologies (LKT) that corresponds to Information and Communication Technologies oriented to pedagogical processes to favor humanistic training.
Objective: The objective is to show the relationship that exists between the application of Learning & Knowledge Technologies (LKT) with the humanistic training of the physician by competencies.
Method: Cross-sectional non-experimental study, which was carried out through the application of an instrument like a questionnaire type to 152 students and 35 medical teachers to know their perception of humanistic training through the LKT. The questionnaire integrated 63 items that were answered using a centesimal scale. It was validated through a pilot group obtaining an alpha of Cronbach of 0.92.
Results: The descriptive results showed that there is a tendency to consider that the application of TACs in medical training contributes more to their integral development (87.60), to academic performance (83.8) and to the development of competences (80.80) than to humanistic training (58.9). However, a significant relationship was observed between medical education through the LKT and the humanistic training of the doctor (r 0.82). This indicates that the perception of teachers and students is not only different from correlational results, but also predisposes the training of physicians according to the challenges of the current socio-educational context.

Resumen
Abstract: The concept of emotional intelligence (EI) developed in 1990 by Salovey and Mayer and Goleman in 1995, invites us to consider a new vision of the study of human intelligence beyond the cognitive and intellectual aspects. Social-emotional learning in education and in the training of health professionals is of great importance because of the relationship between emotional competencies and generic competences and their supposed association with academic performance. A cross-sectional study was carried out by applying the TMMS-24 test to a sample of 131 students from the first to fifth year of the Nutrition and Food Career in a public University from Chile, with the aim of establishing the relationship between the components of emotional intelligence with academic performance and curriculum advancement. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and statistical tests of ANOVA were applied for association between levels of emotional intelligence and academic performance and Chi square test for association with curricular advance. The results indicate that there are no significant differences between the level of attention and grade point average (p = 0.829), the level of comprehension and grade point average (p =0.963) and the level of regulation and grade point average (p. = 0.501), applying ANOVA. No association was found between emotional intelligence levels and curricular advancement, applying the chi square test. The results of research that associates Emotional Intelligence are controversial. This study is a contribution to the results published in this line. Despite the results, it is considered relevant, the consideration of socio-emotional competences in the training of health professionals as part of the comprehensive education to face the orld of work.

Introduction: The evaluation of the clinical aptitude of the medical interns in social service, is a priority indicator for the improvement in the formation of the human resources for the attention of the health.
Objective: Evaluate the level of global clinical aptitude and indicators, which are shown by the interns in social service, in the attention of the ten main reasons for consultation in the first level of care.
Method: A quantitative, descriptive, observational and cross-sectional study was conducted in a private sector medical school. A questionnaire was applied, with a validation from the point of view of content, to a population sample of eighty students. The conditions included in the evaluation of clinical aptitude were the ten main reasons for consultation in the first level of care, of which only six components were integrated. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used considering a value of p ≤ to 0.05 as statistically significant.
Results: The overall grade point average of the students in all the cases presented was 66.6 (± 9.5) with a minimum value of 53.5 and a maximum of 98.0. A better result of clinical aptitude was observed in diabetes mellitus and its complications, as well as in preeclampsia-eclampsia. In 60% of the participants the level of global clinical aptitude for the attention of the main reasons for consultation in the first level of care, considering chance was located in the middle level. There were no differences according to sex.
Conclusions: The overall clinical aptitude of medical interns for the attention of the main reasons for consultation is adequate.

Resumen
This article examines the influence of social interactions on the perceptions regarding technology used in floriculture, and the possibilities of adopting alternative technologies in Zinacantán, Chiapas. The basic premise is that technology is a social construct. Accordingly, emphasis was placed on exploring the constructive role of the social interactions between the main actors in floriculture. The study used qualitative methodology: interviews and discussion groups with flower growers. A social network analysis was conducted, showing how a favorable perception of the use of industrial pesticides to produce market-quality flower harvests is constructed . Nevertheless, formally educated young women and men from the community who have become local agents of change are becoming specialized in finding various technological options to solve floriculture problems. This article suggests reinforcing the links between actors with converging interests to promote dialogues and spaces for meetings to make sustainable floriculture viable.

Resumen
Much of the forest land in Mexico is managed by agrarian communities and ejidos, which also have land used for agricultural production. A case study was conducted in the San Andrés Hueyacatitla ejido, in the municipality of San Salvador El Verde, in the state of Puebla, where the reproduction strategies of ejido domestic groups focus on forest management and agricultural activities, as well as reproductive and care work. The aim was to determine the gender-differentiated effects and climate change adaptation strategies. A sample of 80 men and women, belonging to domestic groups with ejido rights, was used for the study. A survey and semi-structured interviews were applied to key informants and participant observation was undertaken. The effects the men and women participating in the study recognize and experience differently, which are associated with climate variability or climate change, were identified. The development of adaptation strategies according to their assigned gender roles, traditional knowledge and practices was also detected. It was found that government forest conservation programs encourage the development of adaptation strategies in ejido domestic groups for forest management, which, however, does not fully reduce socio-environmental vulnerability in the study area.

Resumen
The problem of the steady increase in the amount of solid waste has mainly been analyzed from the perspective of its effects on the environment and its impact on climate change and human health. An even more serious problem, however, is the ecological deficit produced by consumption growth. Worldwide, the strategy that has been promoted to reduce solid waste is recycling, through Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM), a post-consumer approach which, according to the circular economy, constitutes one of the most important strategies for mitigating the ecological deficit. This article analyzes the capacity of this approach to achieve the objectives proposed and suggests that waste generation itself should be prevented and that this should be the main strategy in its management, placing it within the framework of an ecological, solidarity-based economy. The case of Mexico is addressed to analyze what is happening with the ISWM strategy in its municipalities and to underline the urgent need for waste prevention strategies from a pre-consumption approach. The paper concludes that although there is a legal framework promoting the implementation of ISWM programs at the municipal level, a high percentage of municipalities lacks these programs. It is also essential to prevent waste generation.

Resumen
Environmental prospecting makes it possible to project future scenarios in order to make participatory decisions. Methodologically it requires a retrospective analysis that makes it possible to explain the situation in hand. The purpose of this article is to undertake a retrospective of a coastal dune in the Nueva Odisea ejido in Baja California, an ecosystem with contrasting values. It contains sand with valuable minerals while at the same time, it is the habitat with the greatest plant diversity in the coastal dunes of Baja California. Qualitative research techniques and a review of biblio-hemerographic content were used, as well as participant and non-participant observations in the field, with ejido informants and environmental consultants. This combination of techniques made it possible to develop a line that identifies four stages between 1960 and 2018, related to the emerging public policies in each administration. It is hoped that, as a result of this information, given the changes foreseen regarding the neoliberal nature of public policy in the country, the projection of future scenarios will complete the participatory process of ejido owners, enabling the owners of the coastal dune to make decisions about its use, but this time on the basis of data and lessons learned.
