This study aimed to investigate the realization of practical classes in biology laboratory for students of technical course in Clinical Analysis of a professional public school Floriano / PI, and what implications these practical activities can contribute to the construction of the professional career. We adopted a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Participated 14 (fourteen) students of the second year of high school. The instrument of data collection were questionnaires (pre and post-test) and in loco observations. It was identified that, 71.42% of the students did not practice, and, 57.14% said they were unprepared to enter the job market. Therefore, the project provided students with direct contact with the laboratory environment, assuming a constructive tool for professional training

The public space of the street has been the target of planning and design actions fundamental to contemporary urban interventions, when it assumes a new role of responsibility in the planning of cities and the quality of life of the people, in order to contribute to the creation of economic opportunities and the promotion of social equity; also promoting the health of the population and assisting in practices that involve public safety. Therefore, street is now a key element for good urban planning practices that aim at the environmental and economic sustainability of the place. Through the conceptual and anthropological vision of DaMatta (1997), on the exercise of citizenship in Brazil, and the urban planning recommendations of Ghel & Svarre (2018), which promote the use of the street as a citizen space, experiences with parklet projects in Recife (Brazil) and in Toronto (Canada) are analyzed and the street is discussed as a citizenship space in the two cities, whose cultures and ways of seeing and experiencing the street are different, reflecting consequently different design solutions for the use of the street, as well as for the use and appropriation of urban public space.

This paper aims to conduct exploratory research into dissemination of the purpose of the Industry 4.0 concept in Brazil, especially in the Architecture, Engineering and Civil Construction (AEC) sector. For this aim, a survey was conducted in on line magazines. In Brazilian territory the theme arises since 2016 in traditional manufacturing sector. In AEC the papers on these organizational mechanisms are incipient, especially when talking about possible networks of connections between clients, production, machines with data feedback and specialized programming.

Income is a preponderant factor on the mobility condition of individuals, in proportion to the fact that the higher the monthly income absorbed in transportation expenses, the lower the mobility condition. This article aims to identify how the Brazilian of public transport users. It is a panorama of the places where the population has a greater or lesser degree of easiness to reach mobility with respect to income, taking as reference the relation between the price of the passage and the minimum wage. For this purpose, an indicator was developed for cities in Latin America (ECLAC, 1992). Through the indicator, it was possible to verify that Belo Horizonte - MG is the capital city in Brazil where users are less accessible, while Rio de Janeiro is the capital with greater accessibility based on the minimum income. None of the cities reached the value considered critical by the indicator (33%). However, some reached20%, close to what is consumed in the families’ meals, a proportion of about 19.8% of the minimum wage, an indication that the proportion of monthly income committed with transportation is high and may negatively interfere with the mobility of users public transport in some cities.

Difficult memories, related to shocking situations - conflicts, natural or unnatural catastrophes - that generate negative and indelible feelings in a particular social group, have been increasingly subject to discussions and studies. In Brazil, the difficult or traumatic memories, as they have been called, began to gain visibility in the 1980s, post-military dictatorship, being an object of interest in several areas of knowledge. Recently, there is a tendency to expand studies on this subject in the field of cultural heritage conservation, but the approach is still little explored. This article deals with the recognition of difficult memory places related to the military period by the preservation agencies in the city of São Paulo, seeking to identify the values attributed to them.

More efficient technologies for urban planning and management are of great interest to public institutions and agencies. Facing this trend, City Information Modeling (CIM) appears as a sophisticated work platform, allowing professionals to collaborate on projects and information of the city through a parametric 3D model. In this concept it was defined by a qualitative bibliographical research, aiming to explore the tool, its specificities and the innovative concepts of parameterization, focusing on the potential of application in the urban planning and management of Curitiba. The practical potential of the CIM was verified through the structuring of an rganized three-dimensional model, fed in layers and in a collaborative way and could become an information centralizing agent. The article contributes to the understanding of the technology and its possibilities, which could add to the planning of actions of urban intervention, access to technical information, aiding in better analyzes regarding potentialities and interferences.

The project Meu bairro, minha cidade: você tambémfaz parte desta história, which resulted in the inauguralexhibits of the first phase CEUs (2003-04), was conceivedwithin the Municipal Education Secretariat as a project of memory of peripheral neighborhoods. Developed in the context of the commemorations of the 450th anniversary of the founding of the city of São Paulo (1554-2004) the project fulfilled a twofold objective: to highlight the connections between local history and the wider history of the city, aiming at the inclusion of local memories in the school curriculum of the municipal school system, and favor the positive appropriation of the new school space by the population of its surroundings, then recognized as a building agent of the city. To emphasize these goals, we chose to invert the narrative axis of the city’s history from the center to the periphery, according to the premise that “the city begins where you live”. This discursive operation was based on the testimonies of the residents, which now constitute the guiding thread of this article, in order to address the connections between memory, identity and territory, as well as the definition of memory references, from a different perspective than those guiding the policies of patrimonialization.

The present article aims to consider the use of the methodology of the systemic approach in urban analysis by recognizing cities as complex systems that can be ordered and equated to solve the urban problems. Based on the concepts of the General Theory of Systems, the systemic analysis is indicated by several authors as a suitable methodological way to integrate disciplines in the solution of a real problem. To do so, one must have a complex general problem that presents elements in ceaseless evolution that possess a great variety of interrelationships. Aiming at the application of this methodology, the study turns to the comprehension of the socio-spatial segregation as an integral part of the complex macrosystem of the cities – once this theme is seen as part excluded from this system. A systemic research proposal is developed related to the issue of urban segregation. The research has a descriptive and exploratory nature based on the analysis of theoretical references. By the research it is possible to conclude that the systemic methodological application in urban analyzes – especially in the study of socio-spatial segregation – contributes in a satisfactory way to the accomplishment of urban diagnostics. It was also possible to prove the premise that the segregation can be analyzed as a system that belongs to the macrosystem of cities.
