Currently, European education systems, aware of need to know how to use languages, are developing bilingual and even multilingual programs, thus promoting research in the field of teaching and learning of foreign languages. In recent studies, the affective-emotional aspects are emphasized, especially linguistic anxiety. The main objective of the present study is to measure the levels of linguistic anxiety of 519 students in Aragon (Spain) with the Spanish version of the FLCA scale (Pérez and Martínez, 2001). From 1st to 4th of Secondary in the study of the French foreign language. According to the statistic the results show significant differences between boys and girls, depending on the gender, the teaching method of French (elective / bilingual) and the support, or not, in the study of the language.

Resumen
Nietzsche’s Zarathustra has exerted a great influence in literature, having consecrated a type of epics that could be named prophetic, where the hero is a wise man who presents his doctrines and his visions of the future. One the works inspired by Nietzsche’s literary masterpiece is Jonas (1900), by Belgian Iwan Gilkin, where a new Jonah warns a New Nineveh against the economic “yellow danger”. The myth of Jonah is updated with an intense emotional effect thanks to the vehemence of the biblical verse. A broad recourse to irony introduces an interesting ambiguity in this work by Gilkin

Resumen
Emmanuel Bove is known mostly for novels that portray antiheros that do not find their place in society. However, he is also the author of some detective novels published sometimes under a pseudonym. La fiancée du violoniste and Le meurtre de Suzy Pommier are two detective novels published in 1932 which show the main characteristics and the evolution of a genre considered minor even by their author. In addition, framing their study within Bove’s work we also find in them the features that define his style regarding the presentation and characterization of the space

Resumen
This study focuses on the colonial intertexts in Assia Djebar’s novel L’Amour, la fantasia and on the manner in which they are inserted in the text. It shows that Djebar’s novel tends to privilege direct discourse and narrated discourse in order to comment on the representation of the conquest of Algeria in the military press of the 19th century. In drawing attention to the state of the press during the colonisation of Algeria, this study draws a parallel between the narrative strategies at work in L’Amour, la fantasia and those exploited by literary journalism. Polyphony and intertextuality prove to be valuable not only in the fight against censorship but also in the struggle for freedom, whether this freedom be freedom of speech or political and social emancipation

Resumen
Based upon the concept of «feigned orality», the current paper focuses on analysing the linguistic mediation of orality in Thierry Jonquet’s crime novel, Ils sont votre épouvante et vous êtes leur crainte (2006). This paper will look at the universal elements of the language of communicative immediacy in the phonic, morpho-syntactic and lexical level as employed by the author to re-create the actual speech of his characters. This paper will also provide a Spanish version of the cited novel, rendering all of the elements of the ST in the TT, as well as justifying the translation strategies utilized for solving any problem

Resumen
The aim of this article is to highlight the symbolic and literary dimension of the chronicles written by Saint-Exupéry about the Spanish Civil War. In these works the literary dimension is at the service of the symbolic dimension and their overall meaning is conveyed by the ethical engagement and the glance that the speaking self casts upon the terrible events that he eye-witnessed. We will also see how the voice of the witness-narrator frequently chooses an impresionist style as well as metaphors which produce either the transformation or the mythification of the main theme

Resumen
The diverse educational, editorial, translating, and critical elements present in the work of the Countess of Ségur are more than enough to justify the quick and successful reception and success of her novels in Spain. Different translations of these novels proliferated during the post-war period, as did individual statements evoking a vision of childhood where Segur’s work appeared in the imagination of children readers. These facts, along with the success of her «novel of mischiefs» genre further acted as pillars of her success and support our claim.

Resumen
The aim of the article is to show the female beauty standard that some oral sources in western Africa countries transmit. We have selected epic, Manding hunters’ stories, zamu or brief poetic compositions linked to the names, and songs. The beauty standard extolled is usually accompanied by comments which reveal the behavior that is expected of young women and opinions of the oral poets. That standard is based generally on the colour and thickness at some parts of the body and, to a lesser extent, on movement
