Esta investigación fue presentada en 2014 como tesis para el programa de Magíster en Ética Social y Desarrollo Humano de la Universidad Alberto Hurtado de Chile. Toma como ejes de desarrollo temático la articulación entre derechos humanos y políticas públicas, planteando la pregunta por el fundamento ético de la práctica social implicada en la implementación de los programas del Estado hacia la infancia. Expone la experiencia de un equipo psicosocial que se dio a la tarea de cuestionar su coherencia ética entre discurso y práctica, y el resultado al que llevo este ejercicio de reflexión crítica, el cual no es otro que un modelo de acción social fundamentado auténticamente en el paradigma de derechos humanos.

The collection of Fábulas literarias (1782) by Iriarte, one of the most traslated Spanish poets of all times, has been one of the long-standing foreign source texts in the 19th century France in the field of the apólogo. The French versions of Iriarte’s Fabliaux are mostly based on rewriting techniques (imitations in other poets’ production, adaptations to verse in complete translations or literal prose versions inserted in literary histories), while they simultaneously reflect the translators’ growing historicist awareness of their work. Our aim in this paper is to examine the French development of this collection through a selective and representative corpus framed in the first part of the 19th century.

The research on specialized translation of legal texts has focused extensively on the descriptive and applied aspects of its terminology. Nowadays, this situation is shifting and the works on the analysis of the phraseology of the different specialized fields of knowledge are attracting an ever-growing interest. This paper aims to present a case-study carried out from the collection and analysis of a group of expressions pertaining to the French legal language preceded by the preposition sur and their translation into Spanish. The text corpus belongs to the professional practice of translation. To this end, the relevance of the subject discussed will be justified and immediately after the methodology used will be explained; subsequently, a brief theoretical overview of the notion of preposition will be presented and our study will be illustrated with the assistance of examples in context. The role played by specialized legal dictionaries in the translation process of legal phraseology will be equally analyzed. Finally, a conclusion will be drawn and a series of possible future lines of research will be considered.
