AbstractThis book unfolds different moments that occur during the research work carried out by PhD students. It explains the topics, standpoints, what kind of relationship can be stablished with the thesis director, writing issues, the publications to be made, oral presentation in seminars and congresses, taking a stand in research and the researcher’s commitments. This anti-manual goal is to stablish a bond between personal experience, conditioned by writing and the institutional context, and the research process as a whole, in which the doctorate students often feel lost. This book’s authors are convinced that by doing research and writing a thesis, you not only learn but also communicate knowledge.

AbstractCultural capital is a theoretical and methodological notion which allows to build several hypotheses exploring a number of objects of study in education. In this article we aim to relate the level of capital which the students possess to the discipline that they choose to enroll. Our interest particularly focuses on the disciplines of the humanities at the Universidad Veracruzana which are characterized by a variety of academic professions and prestige.Recibido: 06 de diciembre de 2013Aceptado: 12 de mayo de 2014

Resumen
The purpose of this paper is to examine, from the confirmed cases in Hispania, the different behaviour and rituals which were developed in connection with the premature death in the Roman World: immaturi et innupti. And how the burial practices concerning prematurely deceased young girls mirror different social structures and religious traditions. The girls studied here, from a wealthy and/or high status Roman social class, with Graeco‐Roman traditions, with their uniform grave furnishings, offer a reliable foundation for interpretation: they evoke the “non attained wedding” and female virtutes.

Resumen
The aim of this paper is to review the sites related with possible Iron Age cult places during the 4th‐3rd centuries B.C. in the Iberian area of the current region of Murcia, in the Spanish Southeast. Beyond the traditional studies focused on the presence of important sanctuaries linked to the regional oppida, the data showed a much more complex situation in these territories. A global view of all these sites and their analysis within the spatial and territorial background are presented here for the first time. Based on these dates new lines of work and some reflections on the character of such cult places and on their position in the Iberian landscape are suggested.

Resumen
Contemporary scholarship on the female dedicatory habit in the archaic Greek world has engaged with this subject as a means to discuss broader social questions regarding the roles of women in this period. This study proposes that current approaches to ancient gender can be strengthened through a critical shift in perspective, achieved through the application of innovative archaeological theory and modern feminist social and literary theory. To support this assertion, two dedications by a certain Telestodike of Paros (CEG 413 and 414) are presented as case studies, through which I argue that hints of an Écriture féminine can be found in the texts of archaic Greek dedicatory and funerary epigrams, through the exhibition of femininity in what is otherwise a seemingly formulaic, masculine genre.

Resumen
This article gathers and examines the sparse documentation (mainly journalistic) which has been preserved from the 1926 excavation of the cemeterial area of El Forniellu (Ribadesella, Asturias, Spain). Based on the analysis of the limited data available, a prolonged use of the space for funeral purposes is conjectured, at least between the middle of the 2nd and the beginning of the 5th century AD. The analysis of late antiquity outfits seems to point to the existence of a socially privileged class that controls a rural area open to trading circuits, as well as to a monetary economy.

Resumen
The study of the caves occupation has cornered the interest of the researchers since the 19th century. Nevertheless, their prehistoric levels are which have been the biggest interest, leaving in a background the post‐Paleolithic vestiges. Although, the last years, the number of publications about the frequentness of the caves in roman and medieval epoch has increased. However, in Navarre it is a topic very slightly studied. The following article tries to cover this emptiness of the research. This text is our first approximation to the study about the frequentness of the caves in roman epoch in Navarre.

Resumen
A bronze sculpture of a togatus, lost for more than a century in American private collections, has been recently rediscovered. As for its origin, although it had been traditionally located in the Roman province of Gallia, recent studies have demonstrated that this sculpture emerged from the city of Pompelo in the Roman province of Hispania Citerior. In this article a stylistic analysis of the sculpture will be conducted, drawing new conclusions with regard to its typology, chronology and display
