Personal and social responsibility is a multidimensional variable that is fundamental for the development of human beings in society. Hellison's model has demonstrated its importance by incorporating actions in schools that promote sustainable positive results applicable in diverse contexts. However, this model has not been widely developed in the Spanish-speaking world, especially in Latin America. In this sense, the present study aims to validate the Personal and Social Responsibility Questionnaire (PSRQ) in the Ecuadorian context. The study employs a quantitative methodology, using confirmatory analysis to evaluate the psychometric properties of the PSRQ and the Intrinsic Motivation scale (BREQ-2), with a sample of 614 students from four educational units in the province of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, Ecuador. The results indicate that the adapted two-dimensional model (13 items) presents a solid internal consistency, significant correlations between instruments, which allows verifying its criterion validity and an excellent fit of the PSRQ, thus confirming its validity and reliability for its use in Ecuadorian educational contexts. In conclusion, this validation contributes to the field of knowledge and offers a valuable resource for education in the region.

This research aimed to identify the perceptions of five mathematics teacher educators about the Lesson Study process related to number sense, both in the effectiveness of the process and in teacher knowledge, self-efficacy, and expectations. The creation of an online community of practice of trainers of future mathematics teachers from various Chilean universities was proposed through the formation of a Lesson Study group, whose purpose was to promote the development of number sense. From an interpretive analysis, the results indicate that the eight sessions of the Lesson Study process allowed the educators to positively perceive the improvement in the increase in their knowledge, self-efficacy, expectations about the students, and the effectiveness of the process. The reflections of the group complement the assessment of collaboration and professional learning, with the Lesson Study process and practice being a valuable tool to improve their teaching practice in the training of future teachers who will teach mathematics.

fintech are critical players in the inclusive digitalization of finance, helping to reduce inequality by providing access to a range of finan-cial services that banks do not normally serve. They thus contribute to financial inclusion as a fundamental factor for sustainable development. The aim of the study is to assess how financial inclusion and Fintech growth contribute to the achievement of the sustainable development goals in Latin America. A quantitative approach is employed with a descriptive-correlational and longitudinal scope. It works with evidence based on information from six Latin American countries with the highest nominal GDP in US$ (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru). The data analysis method used is Pearson’s correlation. The overall SDG index and the individual indices of SDG 2, SDG 7, SDG 9, SDG 16 and SDG 17are significantly, positively and with a large effect size associated with the study variables on financial inclusion in Latin America. Examining the SDG9 Index in depth, it is the most statistically significant of all the SDG indices with related variables, both in terms of financial inclusion andin terms of measuring the Fintech ecosystem. This work contributes to promoting further research on the SDGs achievement, financial inclusion, and Fintech development in Latin America.

In Latin America, the limited growth of economic activity has been characterized by its strong correlation with low productivity, which is why the behavior of Total Factor Productivity (TFP) in this region is analyzed.  The objective of this research is to examine the role of labor (L), capital (K), and technological change (A) in the evolution of Total Factor Productivity (TFP) in Latin America during the period 1990-2019.  A panel data model is implemented using the "Pooled Mean Group" (PMG) estimator for fourteen economies over a period of 29 years.  The results show the existence of cross-sectional dependence and a unit root of order I(1).  A long-term relationship between the variables is presented, and it is found that labor (L), capital (K), and technological change (A) positively impact TFP.  It was found that, in the short term, capital (K) has a greater impact than technological change (A) on TFP; whereas, in the long term, it is technological change (A) that has the most influence.  The model shows an adjustment speed of 18%, which implies an estimated correction time of 5.5 years.  In conclusion, the work highlights the importance of strengthening innovation and technological development in the region to improve productivity and economic growth.

In developing countries like Indonesia, empowering women entrepreneurs plays a crucial role in both business development and the growth of tourist destinations. This study examines the critical role of women’s economic empowerment in influencing a sense of belonging, tourism involvement, and willingness to recommend a destination. The respondents in this study are women entrepreneurs who run businesses in areas surrounding tourist destinations. A total of 299 women entrepreneurs participated in the survey. This study employs the structural equation model-partial least square (SEM-PLS) method. The findings reveal that women’s economic empowerment enhances the sense of belonging to tourist destinations and increases women’s involvement in these destinations. Furthermore, the sense of belonging to a tourist destination has a significant positive impact on women’s involvement in the destination. The results also indicate that both a sense of belonging to a tourist destination and women’s involvement in the destination positively influence the willingness to recommend the destination. This study provides valuable contributions to both theory and managerial practices.

Pudentilla, Zenobia, Agrippina, among many others, are characters who gain prominence in the historiography produced by Hidalgo de la Vega. In his works, women are understood as historical agents, regardless of the legal limitations imposed on them. Despite being deprived of political participation in the judiciary and public offices, prevented from having first names and at the mercy of the patria potestas of their male agnate relatives, they acted daily in the gaps left by power, manipulating the order in favor of their interests, often using subversive tactics to minimize their feminine position in a society that perceived them as inferior. Moving away from a conventional perspective that conceived Roman women as invisible, submissive and passive, Hidalgo de la Vega traces the thread of her historiographical narrative by positioning them as privileged actors of their destinies, breaking with the stereotype that identifies them as “victims or rebels” of an inescapable and absolute male domination.
