The objective of this work is to determine the importance that teachers and families give to the relationship established between grandparents and their grandchildren for the development of the personal identity of the little ones. This research was developed in the Early Childhood Education stage in a school in the Region of Murcia (Spain). The collection of information was carried out through a questionnaire intended for each of the participating groups (teachers and students' families) through which information was collected about their vision of intergenerational grandparents-grandchildren relationships and their relevance in development of the personal identity of the grandchildren. The study presented a descriptive-comparative design and the information received a quantitative treatment. The results reveal that grandchildren feel happy when they are with their grandparents, they are very emotionally significant figures and that these relationships contribute to the development of the identity of students of this age.

In this article I discuss how children are recognized in the rights, policies and audiovisual proposals for the sector. To this end, I take contributions from Psychomotricity that contribute to a comprehensive view. First, I reconstruct the context of audiovisual policies for children in Argentina in the context of communicational and cultural rights and debates. Then, with discourse analysis tools designed in articulation with contributions from Psychomotricity, I analyze contents of the Argentine children's public channel Pakapaka that were broadcast during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Finally, the conclusion refers to the contributions of the perspective on corporalities to deepen debates and policies, as well as to produce and offer audiovisual content to children.

The thought concerning the action of teaching by the human teacher in Thomas Aquinas and Augustine of Hippo has been extensively studied. However, when compared, both thinkers are often presented as offering two distinct ways of understanding this action. On the one hand, the Augustinian approach—strongly influenced by Platonism—deniesthe causality of the human teacher and grounds all teaching activity in the illumination of the Inner Teacher. On the other hand, the Thomistic approach—clearly influenced by Aristotelianism—while not denying the role of inner illumination, attributes to the human teacher an external efficient causality in the generation of knowledge in the student. As a result, the two are frequently contrasted or regarded as fundamentally different ways of  exercising the teaching office. This paper seeks to examine how, despite their differences, Thomas Aquinas appropriated and integrated significant aspects of Augustinian thought in shaping his own vision of the teacher. This vision, while original, is deeply rooted in the Christian tradition and is especially evident in his work De Veritate, particularly in the section known as De Magistro, though it is presented with greater clarity in the Summa Theologiae, due to the order in which the question is addressed there. Thus, this study aims to determine whether Aquinas’s reception of Augustinian thought is merely incidental or whether it involves a deeper assimilation that enables him to present a fuller and more authentic understanding of the figure of the teacher—one that would not bepossible without the Augustinian contribution.

The social and political philosophy of Thomas Aquinas is explored here in relation to inequality among men, and, naturally, also in relation to equality. This paper is the continuation of a first part -published in the previous issue of this journal-, which dealt with the metaphysical-theological doctrine of inequality among men according to St. Thomas. This second part examines inequality/equality from an economic-social and political point of view, where the key concept is that of trifunctionality. After analyzing the three functions, both from a social and political point of view, the study culminates with a reflection on the philosophy of economics and social mobility, paying special attention to the interpretation offered in this regard by Thomas of Vio, Cardinal Cajetan.

The process of constructing a scale to measure savings behaviors is presented, given that these are crucial to achieve stability and the fulfillment of goals, especially in unstable economies such as the Argentinean one. After drafting 16 items, these were subjected to expert judgment and administered to a non-probabilistic sample of 384 participants from the general population of the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (57.6% women, mean age = 37.94 and SD = 14.98). A preliminary purification and an exploratory factor analysis based on the polychoric correlation matrix was then performed, implementing the unweighted least squares method for the extraction. The final version consists of 10 items with an ordinal Alpha and Omega of .86 and a single factor describing 45% of the variance. Its total score was associated with measures of Financial Anxiety, the Big Five Conscientiousness domain, Impulsive Buying and Money Management. Differential patterns were identified according to gender, social class and educational level. It is concluded that the Savings Scale has adequate evidence of validity and reliability, allowing to address the particularities of the local environment with great potential for clinical, institutional and financial use.

The present approach focuses on the changes and adaptations that NATO has undergone since its inception to better understand the situation of the Euro-Asian conflict. The objective of this analysis is centered on the changes, treaties, conflicts, threats, and implications of NATO's expansion and limitation. A documentary analysis was conducted using secondary sources and data available on official websites of international organizations, which were systematized chronologically or sequentially. NATO's expansion increased from 21,124,478 km2 (12 members) to 24,508,200 km2 (32 members). In terms of population, there was a change from 172,988,700 to 886,597,483 people. Eurasia is a geopolitical space that is still under discussion regarding its delimitation due to various territorial, economic, and religious conflicts. It is estimated that NATO's expansion is a political move to exert influence and power in the region, and that allies seek this supremacy for the control of resources and territories.
