Background: Childhood is a critical step in developing and growing, not yet physically but mentally and immunologically. In the hospitalization context, a correct, adequate, and complete nutritional apport is extremely important for optimization of treatment. In this context, this research aims to evaluate the nutritional adequacy of patients admitted to the Maternal and Child Hospital of Brasília who are on full enteral exclusive nutritional therapy. Methods: That’s a quantitative research in which the participants were patients between 0 and 14 years of age during the medical hospitalization and that were using an exclusive enteral feeding tube with the diet equal to the final nutritional goal planned. The data were taken from the electronic medical record and the prevalence of each micronutrient was calculated and for adequation was considered a percentage between 90% to 110%. This research was approved by the research ethics committee. Results: 117 patients were chosen, most are male, between 0 to 6 months, and have the principal hospitalization diagnostic of a respiratory disease. The prevalence of adequacy of micronutrients shows that sodium and potassium are nutrients with lower adequacy, vitamin A is the most adequate, and the upper limit recommended for some nutrients was surpassed. Conclusion: This research showed that dietary recommendations for micronutrients are not completely respected for pediatric patients who are on full enteral exclusive nutritional therapy with the diet equal to the final nutritional goal planned. This intake out of references to micronutrients may be posing health risks for this group and this demonstrates the need to investigate the cause and the consequence of this intaking profile. To transform this, a law revision is necessary, supported by more studies and researches about the micronutrients adequation in the pediatric context, finding to establish the Brazilian child’s micronutrients recommendations.

The increase in stress in contemporary society has driven the search for treatments and in this scenario, Integrative and Complementary Practices are an alternative, including Cupping Therapy. This research is a review study with an integrative approach that analyzed works that relate cupping therapy with the treatment of stress and/or symptoms that are associated with stress, as well as studies that combine cupping therapy with other integrative and complementary practices, but who obtained results in terms of reducing symptoms and stress and thus improving quality of life. It aimed to evaluate the evidence supporting the use of cupping therapy to relieve stress symptoms. A search was carried out on the Google Scholar electronic database to identify studies that examined the relationship between cupping therapy and stress. The studies selected for analysis were mainly qualitative and involved small samples. The results showed that participants who received cupping therapy reported significant improvements in several stress-related symptoms, including anxiety, depression and physical pain. Additionally, combining cupping therapy with other complementary therapies, such as acupuncture and music therapy, has been shown to increase overall therapeutic effects. However, the lack of large-scale randomized clinical trials and the heterogeneity of study designs and results make it difficult to establish a causal relationship between cupping therapy and stress reduction. Further research with rigorous methodologies is needed to confirm patient-reported outcomes and elucidate underlying mechanisms of action.

The idea of designing and scheming biological evolution through phylogenetic trees probably started with the development of the classification system by Linnaeus in the 18th century, giving rise to phylogeny. The study of evolutionary relationships between organisms has long been explored by science and for a long time these processes were analyzed using morphological and behavioral data. In recent decades this has changed significantly thanks to the development of molecular biology techniques and the emergence of molecular phylogenetics. Beginning in 2005, with the development and democratization of DNA sequencing techniques, known as New Generation Sequencing (NGS), a new large-scale sequencing approach was allowed, leading to an exponential increase in the volume of information available on the genetic characteristics of organisms. The capacity that these techniques have to solve issues of great complexity has promoted phylogenetic analysis into essential tools for an increasing diversity of research areas. It is known that the manual processing of such a large volume of information becomes unfeasible, hence the need to develop tools capable of working with huge databases. From that need bioinformatics arises, which is an interdisciplinary field of science that combines biology, computer science, statistics, mathematics and engineering to promote proper analysis, interpretation and processing of these biological data. This study presents a narrative review on the main concepts and methodologies applied to evolutionary models and phylogenetic reconstruction, aiming to contextualize and provide subsidies for a better understanding of the steps of a phylogenetic analysis to researchers who want to use this tool in their studies.

This article aims to prepare a brief diagnosis of the inter-organizational networks that exist between companies on the Island of Pag by business activity using Competitive Intelligence (CI). The general objective is to analyze the main statistical metrics present in this business network using Graph Theory. Therefore, the following question was asked: How intense is this network between companies? A qualitative and quantitative approach was used, using three types of research: bibliographic research, internet research and exploratory research using the Competitive Intelligence (CI) methodology using the Q-Gis and Gephi software (instruments). In the end, it was concluded that the Tourism and Leisure sector is the main network in the location. However, the connection between companies is 45.011% intra-cluster and with very low influence between them (0.2%), indicating the need to improve co-optation and the relationship between them, as well as the issue of green hospitality and sustainability.

Cannabis sativa L. is a plant rich in several cannabinoids, many of which have significant therapeutic properties. Among these compounds, cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) stand out, which have shown potential in several treatments. In the field of dentistry, the adequate and supported use of these cannabinoids can be incorporated into the pharmacological routine for pain management, providing relief and substantial benefits to patients suffering from orofacial pain and temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD). In view of this, this study aims, through a literature review, to highlight the importance of Cannabis sativa-based medications in the relief of orofacial pain during dental treatments. Studies show that the use of medicinal Cannabis, especially CBD and THC, has shown to be a promising alternative for the treatment of chronic orofacial pain, due to its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is important to note that this plant is extremely diverse, containing more than 500 components, among which cannabinol (CBN) and cannabigerol (CBG) also stand out, both recognized for their great therapeutic potential, which indicates their application in various treatments. It is worth mentioning that the combination of CBD with THC enhances the effect of the drugs (CBD, CBG and CBN), resulting in a more efficient and targeted treatment, reducing the harmful effects when compared to the use of THC alone. Therefore, dentists must be aware of the dosage and the correct therapeutic indication, considering factors such as the individuality of the patient, the duration and intensity of the pain, and the interaction of Cannabis with other medications used in dental treatment. Furthermore, it is essential that the professional evaluates the therapeutic efficacy and is aware of possible adverse effects. It is known that the management of orofacial pain is one of the most common challenges faced in dental practice, and the use of Cannabis sativa appears to be an effective approach that can complement or enhance conventional treatments, or even replace them in certain cases. However, despite the promising results, further studies are still needed to ensure the safety of long-term use, in addition to investigating possible adverse effects and drug interactions with other drugs. Mastering this knowledge by the dentist is essential for safe and effective clinical application.

The aim of this paper are the pedagogical challenges recognized by a group of university professors regarding teaching in the first year of studies, during the years 2018-2019. This project emerges from a broader investigation in which, semi-structured interviews of a qualitative nature were carried out with teachers of the first year of the Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata. The main question being which and how teachers structured the main pedagogical challenges, based on the experiences they go through, the practices they develop, the limits and possibilities they recognize and the ways in which they face and think about the issues related to university training. A contextualization regarding the addressed issue is put forward, some key concepts are marked out and the main local antecedens are presented. Finally, it is concluded that the academic and disciplinary-professional culture of Social Work is expressed, not without tensions, in the processes of knowledge transmission and in the reflexivities of the teachers, that oscillate from criticism of university education to the lack of reading and writing, the role of evaluation and the assessment and recognition of students. These are relevant dimensions that are articulated with the ways teachers perceive the student body and the academic trajectories that are beginning to be outlined in the context of the public university.
